Help! What is this?

Hi! I began to actually download dramas on asiatorrents some days ago so I don't know much about downloading and theses things. Until now, I have downloaded 14.61 GB. I tried to download another drama today and something appeared and said: ''Leecher Warning! You Have downloaded 14.61 GB, uploaded 2.12 GB and your ratio is 0.15. Your status is Leecher and your ability to download and upload is DISABLED. Please improve your Ratio to the minimal site requirement of 1.0. You can remove this warning by SEEDING what you previously downloaded or by Making a Donation!'' What the **** is seeding? And HOW do I do that (seed)? Please help me. It's very important! Thanks! :)

this is the only thing i understand when D9 and Twinkle [fellow MDl member] teach me about downloading...
SEEDING is when u download the movie u have to leave it in ur comp the whole day, don't close or log off and the rest im sure someone will come and explain it to u.. i myself is one lost and confused puppy lol

ok let me explain when you're using torrent to download you're not downloading from a hosting site like rapidshare you're downloading the file from someone else's computer. the thing with torrent is you can't just download and then be on your merry way... you have to do something called seeding. basically to seed a file you have to leave it on your comp, and not change the file name. with torrents you have to upload (seed) as much as you downloaded. for example, you download a 1Gb file, you have to upload 1Gb it's a give and take kind of system you're considered as leecher because you downloaded too much and didn't seed enough. now since your status is leecher, you can't download any file until your ratio reaches more or less 0.80 - 1.00 all you have to do is to leave Utorrent, or whatever you use to get your files, open and seed until you reach a good ratio and please, tell me you didn't delete the files you downloaded ^^"

HAHAHA MY WORLD :( I DELETED THEM ALL but I can download them again, I'm allowed to do that. :(((

use this site: d-addicts.com
no need to register or anything
you take and you owe no one a thing
Frankly, I only use Asiatorrent to download old movies I'm sure I'll never find somewhere else

Just search for a gold coin torrent in AT (i.e. one thats free) & then let that seed to bring your ratio back up again. Downloading is pretty tricky once you get started (I know I struggled lol) but once you get the hang of it its ok. D-addicts has dramas but they tend to be in single episode forms - sometimes they have the whole drama in one download - but they tend not ot have the subs with it so the eps are raw. I prefer AT cos their dramas are neatly packaged together with subs but cos of their strict seeding rules DA is often my rescuer :)
