I didn't see this thread until now. I have a list of historical romance dramas with happy endings if anyone is interested. I'm always adding to it so I also welcome suggestions if anyone has any!

It’s been a while since I’ve watched an historical drama. I’m tempted to watch The King’s Affection on Netflix, but might be torture for me to wait for the episodes. Can anyone recommend me some Korean Historical dramas to watch. I prefer something with the genre Romance, + bonus for happy ending.

Hey, Rien! 

I would recommend Moonlivers:  Scarlet Heart Ryeo and The Untamed (this has some fantasy elements, but it has a historical setting). Also, Rebel: Thief who Stole the People was a great drama.

Will check out Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. I have access to a vpn now, just need to find out which country has it on Netflix.
