Hello! Does anyone have any xianxia/wuxia drama recommendations? Thanks!

And quick question, is Ruyi’s Royal Love and Story if Yanxi Palace worth all the episodes?

Also, I would love to join the club :D

My recommendations would be: 

  • The Untamed (you have it on-hold but I would give it a couple more episodes, the beginning is confusing but it gets better) 
  • Word of Honor (my recent favorite) 
  • Nirvana in Fire (convinced me right from the beginning) 
  • Legend of Yun Xi (my current watch and I like it so far)

Welcome! Haven't watched Ruyi's Royal Love but Story of Yanxi Palace is definitely worth every single episode. Wei Ying Luo is one of the best female leads ever. Also, the pace is fast so the episodes fly by.

  • Word of Honor (censored-BL adaptation)
  • Legend of Fei (romance/adventure)
  • The Wolf (it's more of a historical drama, but there are Wuxia elements)
  • Joy of Life (adventure/mystery/politics)
  • Nirvana in Fire (politics)
  • Princess Agents (adventure/politics/romance)
  • The Flame's Daughter (adventure/romance/mystery)

Xianxias:

  • Love and Destiny (romance)
  • Love of Thousand Years (romance)
  • Journey of Flower (romance)
  • The Untamed (censored BL adaptation)

I'm currently watching Word of Honor, and I really love it. Aside from Word of Honor and The Untamed, are there any dramas that are very similar? (ones that have aired, not upcoming ones)

Thanks! I got kinda bored at the beginning of The Untamed, I’ll pick it up again after I finish Octogenarian and the 90s (I’m terrible at watching multiple dramas at once, lol)

I’ve watched so many clips of WoHand my sisters currently obsessed with it, I’m sure she’ll drag me on

Legend of Yunxi, I was on like ep 3ish but I forgot to add it to my drama list and then I stopped 

As for Nirvana in Fire, it seems interesting :D
