I'll believe it when I see it. Although roughly 70% of the Japanese public supports same-sex marriage in two recent high-quality opinion polls, which is the highest approval rate in Asia, even above Thailand (see graphic below), the national government is soooo conservative, and I don't see that changing under Ishiba. Per a recent article in Asahi Shimbun: "Although Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba has said that recognizing same-sex marriage would have a positive impact on society, he remains hesitant to commit to legislative action." This sounds like Japanese indirectness for a big fat "no". (I hope I'm wrong.)

This is interesting, I love a good graph! Which of these countries do you think would have the most lavish same-sex weddings if they all legalized?

And as I am getting into ep 5 of Your Sky, I'm learning that Teerak is a fan of watching BLs. So now I'm like WTF. How are we now supposed to believe this boy is completely clueless about how to be romantic and not know how to do all the things one would with a boyfriend if he's this big ole BL fan? Aint no way you're a Big BL fan and not learn the ins and outs of top tier courtship lol. This boy should know the entire playbook on being cutesy and affectionate and how to be intimate and express PDA in his sleep.

Teerak's sister is REALLY getting on my damn nerves. She is soooo freaking annoying. Girl back the eff off already. She's worse than a helicopter parent! grrr

The Heart Killers day and I'm still an episode behind because I didn't want to be left with angst for two weeks, so I stopped myself from watching-- but now I'm at work and can't get to ep 6 & 7 until tonight because it's tax season and I'm really busy 😭
