Yes, that's also my impression. (In this respect, it reminds me of the Korean remake of "Why R U?")

Although I'm enjoying LITA-J, so far it's a pretty direct (but compressed) remake of a good original that doesn't need remaking.

I had trouble connecting with it at first, which I have mentioned before so I won't beat a dead horse, but it got better for me around ep 4/5 I think. Been loving it since. You will LOVE Kidnap! Ohm and Leng are just incredible together throughout the entire thing. The entire cast is phenomenal.

Reflective Morning:

This morning I was on TikTok and I watched a video of We Best Love: No. 1 For You and went on to check out the account that had it. I found multiple clips of the series from season one to two (We Best Love: Fighting Mr. 2nd). It made me reflect on how fast time goes by. It feels like only yesterday I was gripped by the couple's pulsating palpable chemistry. I feel like only yesterday I was waiting and craving season two. Now, to only look back and realise that the whole series ended three years ago and we are about to close another year of BLs to welcome another. 

Someone had posted a MDL game here a few days ago that was asking your favourite BL kiss and I remember choosing the Bad Buddy kiss. When I watched the TikTok video of the We Best Love: No. 1 For You overhead bridge kiss, it made me change my mind instantly. It really shows that there can never be a "best" kiss. Every kiss comes with its own story and emotional weight; each being special in its own context. I then started to think of all the kisses I have seen so far. I remember Korn and Knock's make up kiss from Together with Me, the classroom kiss from Until We Meet Again when the theme song came in and that whole moment to me felt frozen in time because it was the past and the present colliding; the confession kiss from Why R U? when Tutor could not hold Fighter's gaze, the episode 6 kiss from TharnType (if you know you know), and of course the unexpected kiss from A Tale of Thousand Stars; and all the other kisses I hold special.

My point of this walk down memory lane is that every kiss is etched in my memory with its own story and for me there is no such thing as the "best kiss". All that exists are kisses worth a thousand words and feelings.

Funny you post this right now. I'm actually going through ost's of BLs from the last three+ years as I'm planning out another video for a TikTok account I made that I'll be launching once I have a full week's worth of vids completed to start with. I'm currently going through all these floods of emotions and the flashbacks of poignant scenes from them in my head. It's incredible how powerful songs and their associations are on us and that immediate pang of nostalgia you feel — even for a series you just watched like 9 months ago even. I'm sitting here going through all these ost's and uncontrollably start crying listening to so many of them. I'm like dammnit not now emotions, I'm trying to do something here lol.
