Bad Guy My Boss - episode 10

Unfortunately I had a meeting that lasted well into the night, so I only got to watch this series. I will have to watch Your Sky tomorrow (hopefully).

In the last episode Pat said he had his dignity well that went out the window because here he was lol giving it up in that shower. That scene was sinful lol.

Looking forward to the next episode.

Didn't intend to watch it when it dropped this weekend but I just decided to take a peek at the first ep of Caged Again. I was critical of what I saw in the trailer, but thought I'd see what it was actually offering in the first ep. I have mixed feelings, but it seems like it could maybe potentially be something cute as it develops more. Time will tell with the next couple of episodes. I do want to give it at least my normal first 3-4 episodes to see where it goes.

The penguin to human transformation was completely anticlimactic and the scene time dedicated to the entire aspect was so fast that if you looked away you would have missed it. It was devoid of any real significance in the transformation event or leading up to it. There was no yearning to be human to be able to be near the school boy he talked to as a penguin, or anything that created any emotional meaning or symbolic significance leading to that transformation. It was just some of the fellow penguins taking shit about some myth rumor of an empty cage that if you go in it you turn human and Junior(the penguin) over heard them. That's about the extent of it. It just seemed so random as suddenly later that night there was just this pop-up storm and his cage door randomly slightly pops open and he just all of the sudden walks out to go from his cage to the abandoned empty one the other penguins were talking crap about earlier. He then stares at some fake stone wall made for the animal cage and then just out of nowhere just plops into human form. Not even any visual effects or anything during the event. Just one second a penguin shadow then the next a human shadow. It was so silly.

So far the entire first ep just felt strange and off to me. It had this hollowness to it that is often hard to accurately describe. The acting was fine, nothing special though, not particularly noteworthy. Not really getting any moments of chemistry or anything with anyone. It's a bit dry and mechanical overall. It's just kinda as I said above, hollow — so far. I do want to like this series because it seems like it could have a hidden potential that might pop off later in coming episodes. The actors are adorable, but being cute isn't enough. I'll be watching it some more and see where it goes.

I cannot wait to watch it! ♡ :)

I hope you enjoy it

LOL same. He's so dang adorable for real.

All of the motherly feelings came out for me lol

The first 12 micro-episodes of "Secret Love" (with FirstOne and Tle) have now been posted on the official Youtube "Secret Love" channel. I don't know whether this means that all 81 micro-episodes will ultimately be posted like this, without the need for the "QuStory" app, grrrr. Speaking for myself, I think I'll hold off until after the end to see if a (more convenient) complete contiguous version appears.

Have I mentioned that I, like RXinw, really hate this new micro-episode trend?

+++

On a more positive note, I watched episode 4 of "Perfect 10 Liners" and am really enjoying it, especially because of the fantastic cast.

Welcome to my morning rant:

I just spent $940 to get a report printed. Jamaica is currently undergoing a constitutional reform process and a report was released from the Constitutional Reform Committee. In preparation for something I need to be versed on it so I got this 80+ page report printed because I prefer tangible reading material so I can mark up and highlight. Now this freaking thing is so thick I need to get it bound which means more money spending; like about $300 more. I am just annoyed. Why cannot things be cheap! Why cannot inflation go the f down!

Then to annoy me more these f*cking mini/reel series will not stop coming. Everyday another one of the things drops. *self destructs*

!!! I’ve been busy all weekend but I’ll come back in a bit to catch up on the thread <3

In the meantime, more THK content because we are only 2 days away from the release ^^

November 26th is GMMTV 2025 time! Who else is as excited about this as me? We'll going to see a lot of BL trailers and personally I can't wait for the new MilkLove series <3

I feel this in my soul

 Jadeheart:

lol that's cute. I didn't know they had mascots. I wonder what an angry puppy kicking salad means if anything.

I have no idea, I kept looking at a dog in a salad bowl trying to figure out the why, but I gave up-- whatever it's cute lol

Blue Canvas Of Youthful Days ep 7-

That fireworks kiss scene was absolutely breathtaking and beautiful! ♡♡♡ I am loving this series so much! :)

I am, whoo-hoo!

Perfect 10 Liners Ep4

I love this show. It's so endearing! There's not one bad or annoying character. This group of actors is pulling off the comedy aspect, perfectly.

I love the way Arc and Arm's relationship is coming together. Like, despite the bickering dynamic, they have grown to trust each other because of the situations they've been in. The narrative is very sound, something I can't say for every show I watch lol

I also like that the plot is tight and fast paced, and that we didn't linger 50,000 episodes waiting for Arm to realize that he and Arc were a thing. Yes, he had his denial phase, but it was short lived thanks to his friends who pointed it out to him with apples and pears.

That ending scene were Arm decides to wait for Arc at the lab, with Arc's little smile and then the kiss! Swoons-- (BTW props to Force and Arc because he has very little dialogue but his facial expressions are working overtime.)

Sand and Pond are once again adorable this episode. Their relationship arc is much more 'normal' and straightforward, but Pond is sooo sweet to Sand, like I like him too-- bye.

Your Sky Ep1

This show feels amateurish. Like maybe, if directed differently, it wouldn't have felt so disjointed. I kept feeling like I was missing something. Like maybe I missed EP 0, because who are these people.

I'm probably adding this director to my list of proceed with caution. The only thing I've liked fromthem was 'To Be Continued'.

That being said. I'm probably sticking with is because of the cast (I said what I said. Does that make me a masochist?)

  • I think the characters are cute af.
  • Thomas looks gorgeous as Fah.
  • TeeRak is a cutie-- if dense--
  • Por as Lee *clutches heart* ily
  • Ryu & Hia yessss handsome
  • BFF's Type and Joy-- love them
  • Even our villain Oh (screams in Mike)

As you can see I have nothing enlightening to add to this conversation.
