Just realised it’s been exactly a year since I found the BL drama world….last year this time, I found Love In The Air and I’d sneak around and find any spare time to watch it. I had to be extra careful at the time as well cuz I was in India with a lot more family around lol

Feels like forever ago tbh

Century of Love - Episode 8

NOOOOOOOO!!! The Cliffhanger is diabolical. I was so gearing up for the kung Fu X Gun fire showdown. I sat up in my bed and everything, ready for fight night. *sobs*

 RXinw:

This caught my attention. How did it taste and would you recommend.

I loved it! A bit of curry flavor with cashews, onions and of course the chopped pineapple. The same dish will be different at each place, of course. Some add green peppers and carrots. TBH, the best version I had was in Thailand. I couldn't eat enough of it, and it's rare for me to overeat.

A great choice! P43425 is rewatching this one rn. Are you still enjoying it, P43425?  I think LITA was my first rewatch series ever!! I loved it just as much the second time.

You're having all the luck with cliffhangers. I'm taking notes.

 OnyxTheHedgehog:

Any recommendations from my PTW list? I can’t decide on what I wanna watch next but I’d like an enemies to lovers trope with hot scenes (or just good kiss scenes) lol

  • Big Dragon
  • Dark Blue Kiss (maybe?)
  • Jazz For Two
  • Last Twilight (you haven't seen this yet?!? lol)
  • My Engineer
  • Never Let Me Go (Mafia style!)
  • TharnType (hot scenes)

Meet You At The Blossom - Episode 8

A moment of silence for the suffering endured by both the characters and the fans for the last two episodes. The cliffhanger we are left with at the end of today's episode is just plain cruel, but jokes on them because I have the book. Unfortunately for next week's episode according to the book, which the series has followed line for line, the reunion will be heart breaking as hatred will come blazing out of Xiabao's eyes and pierce Huaien's heart. I ran to the book at the end of the episode to see what happens next I just could not read further after the first couple lines. Next week's episode 9 will be heart shattering for the romance department.

I cannot believe that there are only 4 episodes left. How will I move on!

On the bright side tomorrow is Friday which means 4 Minutes new episode and I am so ready for all that sexiness *cough* I mean the plot! I am ready for a very compelling story-line.  :)

I second Dark Blue Kiss recommended by @American Fan.

A new episode is getting me through stressful work. But I'm going out with a friend tomorrow so I may not be able to watch for a while. Wahh.

Just started Never Let Me Go for binge watch purposes.

(re "Love In The Air") Yes, indeed!  As I wrote before, if I yearn to re-watch a series, I invariably enjoy it more the second time around, as I focus more on what I especially like and don't think so much about what I didn't like, plus I understand things that I didn't understand the first time - and this is no exception. I'm already a big Fort/Peat fan, but somehow I find myself appreciating Boss and Noeul much more this time through  (i.e. not just visuals but as really good actors).

 American Fan:
Off-topic: No BL talk here, just food  :-)

For the record: I'm totally fine with food porn, even if non-BL.

Oh yeah, more ... more ... *groan*

I see why everyone was saying how cute it was cuz it was ADORABLEEEE

So glad you enjoyed it. I like it when people share their enthusiasm!

Yeah, one of the nice things about KBLs is that they're usually tightly focused stories that one can knock off in 2-3 hours.

As to picking something from your PTW list (which has a lot of really good titles), you already have some recommendations above, so instead of adding to this, I'll offer a piece of general advice: Sort your PTW list by "Score" (= average MDL rating) and pick a title near that top (> 8.0) that appeals to you. You can't go far wrong.

Screaming lol Haha. You made me almost forget what I even came here to say.

Regarding the Addicted novel was anyone here aware of the dark side of it because I read chapter 127 and I am in shock and horrified because I was not prepared for what I read. I am used to Chinese novels having such questionable elements but I was so engrossed in Addicted that I momentarily forgot that it was indeed a Chinese novel now all the romance in it seems tainted. If I was prepared for it then I would have not been affected but now damn. I hope the remake leaves that part out.

I reside in the vibrant city of New York. My neighborhood is a beautiful blend of diversity and family-friendliness. It's nestled in the Lower Bay Area, conveniently situated between the iconic Coney Island and the bustling streets of Manhattan.

On a typical day, I spend at least 3 1/2 to 4 hours traveling on the subway to and from any boroughs. While I appreciate the luxury of having 24-hour transportation and the freedom to go wherever I want, it can be pretty tiring on my busiest days. That's why having a place I can come home to and unwind is crucial for me.

I love my neighborhood because it has a Starbucks nearby, is within walking distance of the train station, and is close to the water. I'm excited to explore the nearby Promenade and bike to enjoy the beautiful views and the refreshing ocean breeze.

I reside in a studio space with separated areas delineated by barn doors. The room boasts beautiful bay windows, and I've intentionally decorated it with a soft pastel color scheme, incorporating baby pink, light gray, light bamboo, and black accents to maintain a light and airy atmosphere. I've included plenty of steel cabinets and glass displays to introduce a modern touch to the space.

I'm the proud mother of a beautiful, long-haired tabby cat named Gracie; she means the world to me. Every morning, she wakes me up with gentle headbutts and purring, eagerly waiting for breakfast. When I return home, she greets me at the door with her tail held high and leads me to her favorite spot for a cuddle session. Her warmth and affection bring so much joy to my heart and make coming home the best part of my day, next to enjoying a peaceful morning cup of coffee. If you'd like to see her, there's a lovely photo of Gracie on my profile.

I can feel your love for her from reading your paragraph. I had to run over to your profile to see Gracie and I see what you mean by her affectionate nature.
