Hello, I'd like to join the Soundtrack Lovers Club ! It's nice to meet you guys ! I'm quite fairly new to Asian dramas so I don't have too many osts to share but I wanted to join because I'd like to get more OST recommendations ! My top three osts are Tilt, Orbiting Star and PinkTheory. I love the Tilt ost because it's sung by Milklove lol. It's really an upbeat and fun song ! I choose Orbiting Star because it has really nice vocals and I find the vibe of the song very nostalgic and relaxing. Lastly, Pink theory is my favorite because I like the melody of the song and I find it catchy. I've also linked the music videos for these osts on my profile if anyone's interested. <3

I love this song so much I think it really suits the theme of the drama. Listening to this song always makes my heart feel so unsettled which is why I think its so perfect. 

Talk About Love - Lee Moonsae ( The Good bad mother) 

I just love this song so much, it really has such a nostalgic feeling to it.  feel like a protagonists while listening to it lol

Star (Little Prince) - Loco U SungEun ( Memories of Alhambra) 

I love this song because it has such a magical feel.

Does anyone know who the performer is for Destiny (2024) ending? To me it sounds like Sheena Ringo but I'm not 100% sure cuz I didn't see her name in the credits. I mean I guess I could have missed it but...

I love OST's, I'm the type of person who will literally search up the OST on every streaming platform while watching a drama and make a whole playlist out of it. 

I'm mostly a rom-com kinda gal so most of the songs I like tend to be soppy melo's but I like the firey upbeat ones too>>

1) ALWAYS by YOON MIRAE

(i can't explain why but when this song starts playing it calms my nerves so it is one of my absolute favourites)

2) Breaking Down by AILEE

[Doom at your Service]

(this one is because while I was watching Doom At Your Service i listened to this so much it is ingrained into my brain so I have come to absolutely adore it)

3) The Reasons of My Smiles by BSS

[Queen of Tears]

(I woke up from sleep with this song in my head and i still don't know why and since then I have found myself randomly humming this to myself so yeah this is 💕)

I think soundtracks are what attracted me the most to East Asian shows, they’re just so beautiful and add so many emotions to a scene. I am such a fan of good music. I’m one of those people who have proudly converted from K-pop and Mandopop to OST music as a preference. Not saying I don’t listen to bands/idols but I just fell more in love with the OST music. So happy to find many more people who seem to enjoy soundtracks just as much and very excited to share some great music with one another. Would be fun to join the club!

My favourite songs keep changing from season to season, show to show and sometimes just because I’ve played one so much that I get tired of it. However, some of my all time favourite soundtracks have to be the following:

1. A Little Happiness by Hebe Tian from Our Times 

This is where Chinese music stated for me. We had to memorise and perform this song for our Mandarin class and it was so beautiful that to better understand the song, we saw the whole movie. This is my introduction to Chinese music and I think this has to be my all time favourite song across languages. It brings back memories of a very happy time from my law school days and never fails to make me smile but cry at the same time (because of remembering the movie). Such an underrated gem!

2. With You by Jimin and Ha Sung Woon from Our Blues

I recently saw this show and this song just cannot escape my mind. I listen to this every night and the lyrics are just so beautiful that I have added this to a playlist where I record the songs I would like to have playing on my wedding. The calm and tranquility of this song fits so well with the whole vibe of the show and makes me happy. An an Army, I had heard this song before I saw the show but I couldn’t connect to it as much but once I saw the show, this song has gained a special place in my heart and playlist. It’s funny how when I first heard it in the show I was like ‘I know this song’ but just couldn’t place it where. Obviously later I knew, and now this song stays with me for a completely different reason: it takes me back to all the Dong Seok and Seon Ah moments without even trying, love it!

3. Sparkle by RADWIMPS from Your Name 

I’ve actually not seen Your Name, so it’s surprising how much I love this song. This is another of my all time favourites. I first heard this song at a party at business school. The calmness this song spread when we were all super energised was intense. Later I found myself going back to this song on my runs and then it expanded to my shower playlist. And just like that, this song has taken over most of my playlists and you would always find me recommending this song to others. 

There are countless other songs from different soundtracks that I absolutely love, selecting top 3 was quite difficult yet very easy at the same time. Would love to connect with people over more amazing music. Happy listening!
