Nominated for the Best Supporting Actor category for CIFF (Chunsa International Film Festival) 2022 for his contribution as Kang Haesang (The Roundup)

Also nominated for Best New Actor category for BFA (Buil Film Awards) from the same contribution as stated in News #1. Buil Film Awards is one of South Korea's earliest prestigious film awards, hosted by Buil Inbo newspapers company; back in 1958 (64 years); hence 31st Buil Film Awards

This category is eligible when an actor leads < 3 movies overall per year (and fresh faces, eh?); despite acting experiences. Thanks to his boosted popularity (also the achievement of 12M moviegoers from the movie), he's been selected from the most acknowledged, underrated yet recognition from this film awards as well

Another one, he's also selected from the category of Star of the Year Award via an online vote. You can vote 5 actors & 5 actresses via Google form here before next Friday (Sept. 2nd)

and it's OFFICIAL! Son Sukku has his 1st win for the 2022 Brand of the Year Daesang for the People & Culture Category as Best Actor (Male)! MAZELTOV!!

  • When did you first discover him?
  • What makes you become his fan?
  • How many dramas/movies/web series of him have you watched?
  • Which of these mediums is/are your favorite about him?
  • Which of these upcoming mediums of him is/are you looking forward the most?
  • Why would you decide to be a Modern Visionary Fox Club member?

I first discovered him in Sense8 and then Be Melodramatic, and that was that. 

Not gonna lie, but his command of English plus his sexiness in Sense8 with my girl Bae Doona was the hook. Then it was how brilliant of an actor he is - that's the clincher.

So far, I've seen: 

  1. Scarlet Innocence (he has a guest role here)
  2. Suits
  3. Wedding (I LOVED this)
  4. Be Melodramatic (Melo is My Nature)
  5. My Liberation Notes
  6. Sense8

I'm in the middle of:

  1. Designated Survivor: 60 Days
  2. Jirisan (which I started watching for my fave-fave Joo Ji Hoon but realized that Sukku had a guest role as well)
  3. Matrimonial Chaos (I got interrupted in the middle and I haven't gone back yet)

My favorites have been #1 My Liberation Notes (not even close with anything else), and then Be Melodramatic, Sense8, and Wedding.

I'm looking forward to Murder DIEary and Casino.

I look forward to seeing the stuff that fellow group members post here.
