Apart from the brilliant execution of these last 2 episodes, they lay the foundation for several intriguing and dramatic developments:
1. The old secretary's involvement will create a tremendous conflict with his son, the most loyal person ever. I love the character of Eun Si Kyung and the way the writer outlined him, not only for his growing attachment to the princess - which is endearing - but mostly for his idealism. I'm anticipating and dreading at the same time the moment when he will suspect of his father (I have no doubt he will be the one). I only hope they are not going all Cityhunterish on us: I'd hate that!!!!!
2. Obviously, the North will be blamed at some point. Which means we are going to see a repetition of what happened during the WOC training. And although the new king is rapidly falling for his fiancè, he's not ready yet to trust her. In this light, the events of the first four episodes become paramount for future developments. He shot her, after all.
3. Everybody seems to stress the fact that Jae Ha has been a useless dandy all these years, which is true. But it's also true that he was the one who jumped at the throat of those bullies in school to defend his brother. Ironically, he's much better suited to deal with a lunatic such as John Meyer than his brother ever was. The late king was a wonderful person and definitely a good-natured king, but what is needed now is a good dose of... recklessness and audacity. Nothing could have hurt that slimy villain as Jae Ha telling him he doesn't remember him. Hahahahaha!
4. No matter how deep the plot against them goes, Jae Ha and Hang Ah will join forces at some point. I can't wait.
I was already in love with this drama by episode 4, but now I'm so crazy about it I see no coming out of it. I'm doomed. LOL
