There are three good actors in it
Lee Bum Soo (Lee Ha Eung), Lee So Yeon (Choon Hong) and Jin Yi Han (Hong Young Hwi) but even they cannot save the awful script.


You've convinced me, I'm dropping it! If there's not even one thing to look forward to then there's no point in going forward (even though I love JJ, too!) I have way too many dramas to watch that wasting time on one that isn't going anywhere isn't going to benefit me at all. Thanks (:

I think I'll still watch the original sometime, Jdramas are shorter and faster anyways.

I dropped this after episode 12, from the reviews I read it seemed like the drama was getting worse and worse :s

man...I knew this going to be bad. And I know I am shallow as heck for saying this but... I almost want to give this a try for JaeJoong and Seung Hon! LOL From what everyone says though...I don't think I would make it. Heard it's crap. crap crap.

sincerely it wasn't that bad...the were faults but over all I think it was worth my time...I learned few things...Jaejong was amazing and played his role perfectly and the political side of story was good...so no one should drop it...I've seen so much worst works that gained popularity...so stop dropping it for bad reviews.
I'd personally give it 7.5 an I really have a harsh taste in dramas.

Do you have a low patience level? DROP IT! or skip most of the parts
DO you like Historicals that much : you can give it a go but there much better historicals out there.
You're interested in the story: Watch the japanese version because it's short and much interesting (in case you loved the jversion, be my guest to watch this)
I am a die-hard politics fan but I didn't manage to be interested in many political events, i skipped most of the parts so if you're watching because of politics, it would be a bad idea.
If you're watching because of actors (which was the reason i watched this), a big no! I don't have problems with acting skills , i have problems with characters development. Yes, Jaejong was good as an actor but SH didn't convice me in any way (only looks :D)

I have a strict rating too, i gave it a 5 because of some interesting political events, some respectable emotions and some good characters.

I stated my opinion, of course i won't force you to watch it or drop it. It's all up to you ^^

I haven't watched it and I won't. It's as simple as this: It is a remake of a Japanese drama that has really good reviews and is considered the best JDrama of all times (at least that's what I read somewhere, that the Japanese had chosen it like that). So what to do? Watch a KDrama that everyone says that sucked or a JDrama that has really high ratings? I think in most cases it's inevitable for the original to be better than the remake, and this one is no exception. This is just my reason for not watching, though. I don't know about ayone else's.

I'm dropping it simply because I have way too many dramas I want to watch. If this drama is nothing but average (and many say it's not worth the time) I'm going to take them up on their opinion so I can save that time for a drama that I will be more satisfied with. And I still plan on watching the original. I'm not dropping it just because of the reviews (:

I couldn't agree more, i really should've seen the japanese version first *sigh*
