Chukahamnida! (Lots of fans were hoping Yoo Inna and Hyun Woo would win it though.)

I'm happy for them but also sad because Yoon In Na and Ji Hyun Woo deserved it too! u.u
but where can I find the other winners????
I really liked this drama a lot! Like many others have said, it took a little easing into. It was different from other dramas I've seen. I was actually kind of surprised there was so much adult humor, since most dramas are pretty conservative, I mean not that I minded I thought it was hilarious. This drama took a lot of risks and I was happy to see that it was accepted so well. My only complaint now is that I wish it wasn't over haha. I always feel a little empty inside after I finish a good drama. Anyone want to reccommend me a new one? xD
I started watching this drama yesterday: Though i like the drama so far, the accent is ANNOYING!

Maybe it will get better with more episodes? Just like in King2Hearts it took me several episodes to get used to Ha Ji Won's accent.

Jaja I don't know I just feel happy because I'm able to recognize the accents. When I was watching it my brother asked me why did I laugh so much and I told him that it was because I loved their accent, and he just told me "what accent? it's only Korean"
And I found Hang Ah's accent to be adorable :)
I just love different accents in all the languages I know of
Oh, I kinda became "a fan" of satoori after this drama :D It was a bit unusual for me in the beginning, but like beca256 said at moments it was even funny, for ex. when ** Yoonjae went to Seoul and started speaking the standard language in everyday life, but Shiwon kept her satoori speech so she continuosly teased him about his Seoul accent <3 "Switch it off!"**
Now I even wanna hear some of my favorite korean artists (who're not from Seoul) speak satoori hihi

So i think the reason that took me so long to get used to them is my disliking for accents :D

The 5th Korea Drama Awards ceremony was held at the Gyeongnam Culture and Arts Center last Oct. 2 to recognize excellence in drama in the past year.

The ratings hit family drama "Unexpected You" (also known as "My Husband Got A Family") swept the awards, winning a total of six.

The drama's lead actress, Kim Nam Joo, won the night's "daesang" or grand award for her role as a wife who struggles to get along with the family of her husband.

She edged out Kim Soo-hyun of "The Moon That Embraces The Sun," Yoon Yeo-jeong of "Unexpected You," Uhm Tae Woong of "The Equator Man" and Han Suk Gyu of "Tree With Deep Roots" for the award.

"Unexpected You" also won as best drama over "Gentleman's Dignity," 'The Moon That Embraces The Sun," and "The Chaser."

In the acting category, Han Ji Min of "Rooftop Prince" and Kim Sang Joong of "The Chaser" won as best excellent actress and actor.

Han Ji Min was chosen over Soo Ae, Shin Se Kyung, Kim Hyun Joo and Jung Ryeo-won.

Other nominees in the best excellent actor award were So Ji Sub, Son Hyun Joo, Yoo Jun Sang, and Lee Bum Soo.

On the other hand, Lee Hee Jun of "Unexpected You" and Kwak Do Won of "Phantom" tied for the excellent actor award while Song Sun Mi of "Golden Time" won as excellent actress.

Singer and actor Seo In Guk won as best new actor for "Love Rain" while Yoon Jin Yi of "Gentleman's Dignity won as best new actress.

In addition, Seo In Guk and Jung Eunji of girl group A-Pink won as best couple for their roles in the drama "Reply 1997," which garnered the highest rating on cable and drew praises.

The best director award went to Jang Tae Yoo for "Tree with Deep Roots."

"Unexpected You" also won the best scriptwriter award while Kwak Dong Yeon won as best young actor.

The best original soundtrack (OST) award went to "Back In Time," the theme song by Lyn for "The Moon That Embraces The Sun."

A total of 15 winners were awarded in 11 categories in the 5th Korea Drama Awards, chosen by expert judges from different fields.

The awards ceremony was hosted by Jun Hun Moo and Jewelry's Kim Eun Jung. Performers were Lyn and A Pink.

How this news landed on Manila Bulletin is a mystery to me. I am beginning to think they have a Kdrama fan there who translates for them.
I'm going to post this in the new thread :)
Just finished this series, totally loved it. In the very last scene, where >spoilers>> they were taking the photo and then Yoon Jae falls and cries out that he'd broken his arm. Oh my god loved that! I'd been thinking for ages "how did he break his arm and why the hell didn't we see that!?", but it turned out that they were just saving that scene for us! That was just the icing on the cake. The flashbacks were always so well placed, and everything fitted together so well. And Eun Ji and Seo In Guk just meshed so incredibly well. Looking at the behind the scenes footage though, it looks like In Guk is just a really friendly, outgoing person. So i think he probably brings that out in others.
Just finished Reply 1997 last night and spent this morning reading this thread, which I was avoiding while watching the drama. I haven't watched many dramas, but this is a 10/10 for me <3 I am sad it is over, but glad that I have MDL to keep the fangirling last a little longer :)
