It's been a while since I watched the drama, so there's a good chance I don't remember some important scenes regarding this - but to my knowledge, I don't think he ever tells him...

She does tell the reason behind the revenge but he comes to the conclusion that he has someone new now and it kind of became a background thing.

The whole story was not really talked much about or even truly developed well.....kinda was a bit useless info tbh tbh
