I don;lt know now why I disliked Oo do ri. She;s great. She and Sun Woo are the highlights of this series.
is she the same girl in Wild Romance u know the wacky best friend?
Bladey wrote: LOL, well at episode 15 I am actually feeling sad for her by now a little, I kinda got used to her, she's stalkerish but kinda cute at it. The character I really dislike is Eun Chae, she's been always getting on my nerves, especially in that play they staged early on. And Oh Man Suk's character kinda fits Oo Doo Ri's style, to be fair.

Man I really like Oh Man Suk. He's so easily likeable and natural at acting. He's a musical actor and singer himself and has a pretty good voice. 5 times played the stage adaptation of Clown and I, Yi. and looking at some youtube videos, he seems honestly earnest about this.
Just finished the Vinyeard man and he was absolutely adorable with Yoon eun Hye, who by now has become a pro at romantic comedies, no doubt about that.

I agree Oh Man Suk is charismatic and agreeable, I just didn't know that he's a musical actor. Must check him out on youtube then. :)
At first I found him (or maybe the character he's playing?) to be inscrutable? But he turned out to be a trump card, probably one of the biggest.

Eun Chae IS annoying, no doubt. I haven't watched episode 15 and 16 yet, but I don't think she's going to change her attitude even slightly in the last remaining episodes, though, I would like to be surprised. Maybe it's also due to the way the actress, Jang Hee-Jin, portrays her. Eun-Chae certainly does have factors that would normally draw a few sympathetic feelings to her, but the way she's handling her troubles, just gives me the shudders. *shudders*

Indeed!

@Nikki: He looks like he;s mostly invovled in his own stage productions. Dramabeans, when writing about the drama back in october said that he apprently said it was an honour to act in a drama written by this particular scriptwriter. His official page lists a whole lists of porjhects, but I can;t make them out since they're in Korean. They also said something I definitely agree with, that given his extensive experience in the musical productions, he is very wel cast for the role, and so he is.

The next episodes are going to be heartbreaking, no matter what. To be honest, I niowwish oo do Ri had more screen presence. she's really the best of the whole lot of them abd yet she only sang once or twice. That's the problem with this drama- it wasn;t long enough to give everyone a chance to shine at least once in each episode. Too bad, a waste of great cast, a bit, especially Oo Do Ri.

Wait a second, it looks like it has been extended by at least one episode, because ep 18 is clearly NOT the finale, ince it had a preview for the next episode and this one really doesn;t look like a finale because it leaves too many things unsolved.
when did it change from 18 to 20 eps.?....i only noticed it now as i was going thru my currently watching list :D

YAY! YAY! YAY! *dances*

I was trying to have a look at Oh Man Suk's musicals, but I couldn't even find a record of what he's been in. I will keep searching, but with my limited Korean it might be tough. rofl.
i really like the music at the end of every episode...

@Nikki: Try consulting his website...but it;s in Korean and google translate doesn't work since these are photographic images and doesn't read them.

http://www.ohmanseok.com

There is a whole list of all his projects there, quite a lot of them.

I was searching for some of his things on youtube by using OMS+ sing
Some results werre from Vinyeard man (in the drama there is one episode where he sings the korean version of Dhinghis khan, Lol, still acting as his character)

but there was one fancam of him performing live and from there you
could find related videos, including some interviews. Some are subbed I think.

I casn't wait for the 17 and 18 ep subs now

I am still haunted by the song that was used in the ooening to the first episode, it;s beautiful.
I'm watching episode 17 right now and I really can't stand it! I wish all the episodes were out already! Y really love Oh Man Suk's character! He doesn't stand out at all in Wild Romance, but here every gesture and every face he makes just melts my heart! He's one of the main reasons I watch this. Well and Oh Doo Ri, she's my first girl crush I think, I love her character *-*
Yeah Beca, I hear you there, and their mentor-student relationshi is really cool. I think oo Do Ri has a good future ahead of her, she does strike me as a pretty strong and not a silly person at all. I'd love to see her taking up the role of a music/acting teacher, to be honest. While waiting for subs for ep 17 I was revisiting all the episodes and Oo Do Ri never did quite get a chance to shine. I don't think Wild romance is not for OMS to shine, since it's just a standard romcom which needs the main coupole, the huyng character, the best friend character and a couple of others in order to work. I am not sure why he's doing that drama in the first place, he just doesn;t have much to work with in WR. Here he's more in his element

I think the same too, that she should shine, but I think the thing is that she doesn't want to shine, because that's what her mom has always wanted for her, so I think she'd be really good at directing, or writing.

And yeah, I do agree that he doesn't have much to work with in WR but let's see what happens next because there are a lot of secrets yet to be revealed about his marriage and his relationship with Moo Yeol. Also I like Wild Romance but I'm getting bored now that it's getting serious. I don't think they didn't pull out the transition quite well. It went from being really funny to really dramatic with no in-between so I don't know what to expect. I still have to watch eps 7 & 8, though. I read somewhere that Jessica appears from ep 7, so let's see what happens, I have yet to watch her acting skills
True; But You know thinking about this, Oo do Ri could yes do well with writing and I think that's what's being suggested but for some reason I am thinking she could well become a female future version of Sun Woo, especially given how she's influenced bu him and do teaching, and teaching not only skills but certain values or aspects that are important in surviving in the entertainment circus. I think she could be a great teacher. Yes she does appear in ep 7. I get what you mean but I'm glad for the transition in WR, if it was all comedy like this I would put it away; for pure romace comedy with little drama, The Vinyeard Man is my personal preference.

I also think that she will be a future Sun Woo, but I do hope that something else happens with him before the end.

And as for Wild Romance.... I'll go comment on its thread for the sake of no threadjacking xP
