Same. I’m grateful for Tong Hua for having created Xiang Liu. But Jing…just no. So uninspired.

To be honest I didn’t pay much attention to him at the beginning. I thought he was cast for his pretty face like so many other idol actors. How he proved me wrong.

Fun tidbit from Youtube vid I saw, I don‘t know if this is legit though. Apparently TJC got the second highest billing for LYF after Yang Zi, due to how established he is as an actor compared to WZY and DW. Well he definitely worth that money. 

Confession time.

At first I didn’t even know who he was. I read some comments about a vampire (lol) and I got intrigued but when I saw there was no vampire, I was bummed. I wasn’t really paying attention to him at all, I thought the story was all about XY and Cang Xuan. But then he started to steal the spotlight more and more so I imagined that there was something unusual with the direction this story was going. Still can’t believe he’s not the main ML. He’s the only one that matters.

Good to know that he got his coins. I hope this is true. He’s more than worth all the money and all the praise.

I started watching this show because of Xiang Liu. However, I'll be completely honest and say I didn't like him in the beginning either since he let Chubby eat the feifei. Since I already shared my old comments, I might as well make another confession. I confess when I first watched the show, my evil twin Elena was going to make a timed comment saying something like "I hate him forever. I hope he dies a painful death" but someone already made a similar comment so she didn't. Well, Elena got her wish.....

I didn't warm up to him until episode 7, the scene where him and Xiao Liu were looking at the moon and holding hands.

This what I’ve been thinking lately.

If you really think about it, the Jingers are quite selfish. I dare say, even a little evil. Because think of it this way: there’s this very clear tragedy (yes, it’s a tragedy when a beloved character dies, no matter the circumstances, no matter if the character wanted it or not) and a supposedly happy ending. They’re actually looking forward to their happy ending with no consideration whatsoever to the dude who’ll die so they can live. Actually, that awful person over there (the vulgar one), said she’s happy “he’ll croak”. 

It’s like eating a full meal next to a homeless person. If you really consider it, that’s just evil. I’d be ashamed to be happy watching that ending. I hope the sadness and fury caused by Xiang Liu’s death cast a big shadow over everything else. 

They were even mocking the epilogue, saying he didn’t do anything to warrant an chapter dedicated just for him. It took all my self control not to start a nuclear war inside that cesspool of a forum.

don’t they see he’s already exhibiting jealousy when he saw XL hair on her bed? Disturbed by that bite mark on her neck (not that he’s concern about her but another man managed to touch her first before him?) 

the fact that he wanted to possess her, this is his priority but he could not get his own priorities straight. Irony.

this show was never in my list tbh. Like I’ve said,  my friend asked me to watch. However that time i was still healing from Cheng Yi‘s drama but I went in without any expectations.

surprisingly, none of the 3 male leads interest me at all. Haha, I told my friend, I LOVE WXL. She’s so cool and relatable. I think what made me start to get notice XL was during the “you re not the type to be in girls dream” scene. my reaction was purely, “omg he got rejected!” The expression he made left an impression on me. beautiful yet complex, I would say.

but then, when FFB came gracing my screen, it’s game over.
