Poor guy, it seems like CY is a serious actor, that is not in it for CP. I hope in future he get to do more roles with little or less romance then there will no CP fandom.

The problem was not the romance. The problem was the company that did not know how to finish this couple in a more dignified way at the concert. As they did, it was not just traumatic for Cristal Yuan and the fans. It was traumatic for Cheng Yi (it was not a happy time for him.). For neither. That was visible. Ps: I want him in other on-screen romances (he plays the passionate hero so well. I don't want to miss it. I want him in Spring Banquet drama. (I'll be so happy to see him in another fantasy drama). And for Cristal Yuan I wish her the best too. She has already filmed a police drama (I want to watch it) and I want to be given her another romance too (so immature and heartless fans will get over it better). And they won't be disturbing either Cheng Yi or her.

Autumm Concert actor (never seen this drama), Vannes Wu. I miss him so much, I watched him in Princess Wei young, he was the villain, second protagonist. I loved him. Why didn't they give him more dramas? And as the protagonist? Ahh, he is wonderful. And in the bts he was so playful with everyone.

Please don't hate Chen Yi or Love and Redemption for the fan meeting yesterday. Honestly, I myself was very disappointed to see that Bing Yuan was mistreated by her colleagues in public. Also, Chen Yi did not even look at her. I'm in the middle of watching this drama and loving the chemistry between the leads very much but I was quite shocked to see that incident last night. It was just ridiculous. I also heard Chen Yi is getting a lot of hate for his neglect toward Bing Yuan.
But it is said that the fan meeting was deliberately ruined like that to break down the couple image of Chen Yi and Bing Yuan by their agency. Even the Vice President of HuanRui entertainment personally came to the last night's event. Many people suspect that he came to monitor the interactions between Chen Yi and Bing Yuan. BY's contract with HR is going to expire soon and I heard that the VP does not like BY very much. As the chemistry between Bing Yuan and Chen Yi is so strong, I think the agency is worried that the current and future projects of CY might be affected by that. Chen Yi was not even allowed to enter and leave through a normal entrance for the yesterday's event not to have interaction with the CP fans . I think there is a lot of pressure on him by his agency. One of the staff also mentioned that before the event was held, the Vice President called Chen Yi into a private room and then they had an argument. I guess that was the reason for Chen Yi's strange behavior yesterday.
Although Chen Yi's behaviors toward Bing Yuan were rude, I'm trying to understand him. After watching many dramas about idols, I can relate to their hardships and the absurd rules by their companies. In my opinion, both Chen Yi and Bing Yuan are victims by their boss. I hope they will have successful careers and carefree lives.
Chen Yi looked super stiff and distracted, while Bing Yuan looked super sad last night. I think Chen Yi had to try very hard to avoid Bing Yuan. If he is a bad guy, he doesn't need to make an effort for his social distancing. Right?I believe in the friendship between Chen Yi and Bing Yuan. Many BTS and interview videos prove that they are very close and comfortable with each other. So, even if they can't openly communicate to each other in public, they can still be close friends in real life. One of the backstage staffs of the fan meeting also mentioned that they talked normally to each other offstage. So, I'll still support both Bing Yuan and Chen Yi. I don't understand China's compicated culture for the idols and actors. These actors are so pitiful. They can't even make decisions for their relationships and personal life.

It's not really the CP ship. It was how he acted so rude toward a coworker and how he answered his question. Everyone gave a speech about their character as their final speech but he just said SF is gone but CY is here. This was a fan event for the drama, not a CY fan event. This is the main reason people are mad. 

Fans of the drama are hurt by his action. As this is not related to Crystal, he acted on his own. 

There was a meeting before with the head of the company (who was also at the event and appears in the video), he was there as a spy. (Yes, his way was cold, he didn't know how to act). But you must understand his situation. (He was sad, pressured, unnatural. He had a right to have a normal closure in the drama, and he was not allowed.) They left him so scared, rebuked him so severely, that the result was this.
