Thank you for the suggestions, I'll look into them! :)

im so glad youre liking FITYMI so far, the first 5 episodes is usually where it loses people because "boring" but it gradually picks up, I really think you'll have fun with it.  <3

Good to know. The first episode wasn't impressive, but I know that it can be like that and it doesn't have to mean anything. The key is always to like and care about the characters. For example, Nothing But 30 was the first drama I felt was pretty much as good as Ode to Joy season 1-2... while Ode to Joy season 30 was so bad in comparison! Other similar types of dramas were more or less okay to me... I think this one will turn out to be one of the better dramas.

Thanks again! I have only watched Long Vacation (it was okay, not that great for me, but it was kind of fun to see a young Takenouchi Yutaka).

Not an ahjussi romance but I think u might like call it love . It has a similar vibe to my liberation notes and a piece of your mind imo <3

I saw that you haven't watched My Mister (ahjussi romance but not romantic) yet! If you loved My Liberation Notes, Our Blues, Summer strike you'll like Call it Love, Lost as well, cuz I loved it too!

Another one is Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu somewhat different in respect of others mentioned but you'll get adult being emotional, solving problems and overcoming the hurdles, compromising to be better in life. I never thought I would LOVE this!

FYI: The on-screen couple here got married off-screen irl after this drama, isn't it adorable! <3?

Here's a list I created for the adult melo lovers like me: https://mydramalist.com/list/4Ko5WNY4 (I update the list every now and then)

Yong Jiu Grocery Store - perfectly fits the slow paced warm feeling you're describing. The ML isn't as old as you wanted but he's great and the romance is mature. Focuses on a lot of different relationships (family, friends, love, etc.).

All is Well - Not the warm vibe you described but all of the characters are in their late thirties-forties and the romance is mature and steady. Mostly focuses on family issues. Such an underrated drama, it's one of my favorites.

Hospital Playlist - There are many love lines because it's an ensemble cast but I think you'll dig the warm, consistent relationships throughout. The whole cast is supposed to be in their late thirties-early forties.

One Spring Night - The ML is younger than the FL IRL but they're supposed to be the same age in the drama so I wouldn't classify it as a noona romance. He does have a pretty boy face though so I'm not sure you'd be into it. It seems to fit a lot of your criteria though otherwise. This is the most romance centric drama on this list.

I Will Find You A Better Home -  Very slow romance. Mostly focuses on business and human stories.

Thanks! It looks like it's worth checking out, but it's on Disney+/Hulu, and I don't really feel like paying for another site when I already have Netflix and Viki. I might consider it if I run out of options. :)

Yeah, I haven't watched My Mister... I have been considering it, it's just that my friend (whose taste and opinion I usually trust and respect!) hated it so much that it made me doubt it. I'm not against making up my own mind about things though! :)

I'm interested in Call it Love, if only I didn't have to get yet another streaming site to watch it. :p I see that Lost is on iQIYI though.

I have watched Nigeru wa Haji... as well as many other titles on your list, but not all of them. Awesome list! :)

@looktothestars

Thank you for the suggestions!I'm  glad you took the time to read my post properly and try to understand my request! It sounds like you really understand what I'm looking for. I have watched (and LOVED!) Hospital Playlist, but not the other ones, although the first title you mention has already been suggested to me on the feeds, so I plan to watch it. :) That will probably be the one I start first next time I need something new on my CW list.

One Spring Night is on my plan to watch list too. I've just been saving it for when I'm in the mood. I'm not against watching pretty boy faces, *lol* I do that all the time, it's just... when I wrote the post, I was just really in the mood for getting a new actor crush because it was too long since I looked at someone and thought "omg he's so attractive!" :p Seems like the ones I like don't make new dramas often!

I think it's probably next to impossible to get it ALL in one drama. But I tried. And I got so many recommendations for dramas that sound good. :)

Elvis is great crush material.  <3

I'm sure he is, but... nah, not for me, sorry! I mean, I like the character, he's a great guy, but he doesn't really make me swoon. (Yes, I think I AM picky!)

Kim Myung Min (his voice, omg!), Takenouchi Yutaka, Yang Shuo, Iura Arata, Lee Jin Wook, Huang Xiao Ming and Fujiki Naohito are my faves! I also like Hu Ge, Jin Dong, Lee Byung Hun...

And also Qin Lan, Jiang Shu Jing, Kim Seo Hyung, Kim Hyun Joo and Lee Yo Won!
