Hi, thank you so much for recs!

Gorgeous Dream is exactly what I was looking for!!!

Hey, after checking out your watchlist, I see we both have a high opinion of Story of Kunning Palace, but you gave a 10 to Till the End of the Moon, which was too dark and melodramatic for me. I thought it was well written, but sustained emotional pain makes me detach. So I'm thinking you would love a drama I tried to start but didn't, because I could see I was going to get skeeved out by the dark, gloomy visuals, the serious body count, and the likelihood of a sad ending. But the writing is highly praised, and the FL is a ruthless assassin marrying into a martial arts family in order to destroy it:

My Journey to You

When I think about exploring a dark Jianghu marked by ruthless manipulation, betrayal, purges and slaughter, I'm intrigued for a minute. I looked up a Chinese idiom suitable for a malevolent Jianghu universe: xīng fēng xuè yǔ — the literal meaning is, apparently, "a wind smelling of rotting meat and a rain of blood." So after thinking it through, I realize that I'd end up with an unfinished drama and a bruised psyche. It sounds like your results would be superior to mine. :)
