If you don't mind explicit content and cheating in marriage, try Whisper of Desire. Imo it had the balance of romance, conflict, and angst. And plot twist, oh how I love plot twist. And quick retribution, yes.
And for me the best romance drama that comes out in 2026 (but it depends on preference, to each their own) was Yumi's Cells Season 3 as it's actually (imo) love at first sight turned to dislike turned to lasting love. So cute.
Shine on Me started airing on 22 Dec 2025. Plot wise, it's really a great one. A little bit different from the novel (the novel was the best) because that annoying first love with so much prejudice towards FL kept appearing. But maybe it's so just FL could saw that person's regret and speculative outcome. He's a calculating one, that man. Love shouldn't be calculated.
