Hello, I'm new to K-Drama and was hoping I could get some recommendations here. I don't mind any type of genre just any good drama I should start with as a beginner.

Hi & Welcome! ~

I can suggest you some kdramas that are quite popular:
- W (I really recommend this if you like fantasy)
- Descendants of The Sun (A sweet drama)
- Goblin (Very funny)
- Weightlifting Fairy (Very fluffy & cute)
- Boys over Flowers (Personally, I don't recommend this but it's a classic kdrama)
- The Heirs (Extremely cliche)
- Strong Woman Do Bong Soon (Recently ended & it's a nice, funny drama)
- Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (More on the historical side)

Enjoy x
Welcome ~
+ 1 Descendants of the sun
- Healer

My beginner's starter pack:

- Weightlifting Fairy (for some cuteness and awesome leads chemistry)
- Age of Youth (few episodes, sisterhood)
- Healer (rom-com and action all in one)
- Goblin (rom-com, fantasy and hot oppas)
- Master's Sun (rom-com, slightly horror at the beginning but not really scary)
- It's okay that's love (rom-com, medical, non cheesy leads)
- Chief Kim (almost no romance, hilarious characters, bromance, business)

You can also start with some web-dramas which are short and easy to finish:

- Splash Splash Love
- Noble, My Love

Enjoy watching!

Coffee Prince
Marriage, Not Dating
Oh My Ghostess
City Hunter
You're Beautiful

They are all dramas that are easy to get into.
i my Opinion

Goblin (beautiful and funny)
Descendants of the sun
Signal (my first most fav series for a fan triller/mystery must watch)
The Heirs (best to watch early on)
Healer
Welcome :D I started watching k-dramas towards the end of 2016!

To introduce some new titles to the mix: I would recommend:
Chief Kim (comedy)
Another Miss Oh (romantic comedy with drama)
Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim (medical, with a bit of everything)

You can also look at everyone's mydramalists to find out more names :)
