Try:

All about eve [2000] - The first ever Kdrama that I've watched 9 years ago. It was really good, especially because Jang dong gun is on it. :>

Autumn Tale [2000] - The second Kdrama in my life. I bawled into tears for the first time. My first heartbreak. :)

Winter Sonata [2002] - My first favorite. Until now, i won't mind watching it again and again. Ohh, and i heard, This is the first Korean wave that hits Japan.

Love story in harvard [2004] - Kim tae hee is soooo beautiful in here. and the love story ? Two thumbs up!

Sad Love Story My Name is Kim Sam Soon
neonlibrarian wrote: I have seen a handful of these, but I'll add others to my list. KimuTaku is one of the main reasons '90s/early-'00s dramas are so dear to me.

I second here :D and add:

- Ordinary People (1993)
- Jinsei wa Jojo da (1995)

Btw. all KimuTaku dramas are worth of watching, just some older ones are hard to find or impossible to find.

Next mine favorite is Sorimachi Takashi, so i second to GTO and Virgin road too and add:

- Over Time (1999)
- Cheap Love (1999)

GTO and Over Time has other mine favorite: Esumi Makiko. From her i add:

- Sore wa, Totsuzen, Arashi no you ni.. (2004)

And one from border year ( for me 2005 is border between old and new):

- Brother Beat

Wow! I'm thrilled with all these recommendations. My Plan To Watch list has exploded. Since making the original request, I've marathoned "God, Please Give Me More Time", "Summer Snow" and "Hito ni Yasashiku". I loved all of them (particularly "Hito ni Yasashiku"--my weakness is good looking guys caring for small kids and this show was SO heartwarming). Strawberry on the Shortcake was recommended several times by various posters. I tried the first episode and just can't get into it. There's something surreal/akward that's turning me off it, even though I adore Tackey normally. Without spoilers, can someone give me a bit of detail of why they recommend it? And at what episode would you consider it to get really good?
I see Yasha is on your PTW list, definitely one to see. Also like the above said Brother Beat (Also consider it a border year Drama hehe!). With Strawberry on the Shortcake it's worth trying to push through those initial episodes. It is a bit hard to watch at first but honestly at the end it's totally worth it in the end. I had to really push myself at first; just felt really dark & like it wasn't going to end well but totally not what I expected at all. :)
"Under the same Roof" (very heartwarming), "Kamisama mou sukoshi dake/God give me more time" (very touching) and "Forbidden Love" (best one cute couple in jdrama :D ) this my favourite older JDrama :D
