Please recommend me a kdrama and tell me why it's worth my time.  (So that I can decide)

i am not looking for anything in particular, because many times I dont know what I am going to like till I am ten episodes into it.

Here are some dramas I recently enjoyed or binge watched.

Cheongdam dong Alice - Because realistic to some extent, and the male lead was really cute,  he loved the heroine A LOT, and it was hilarious at times.

Nobody Knows - Another realistic, and kind of relatable drama. Dealt with a serious issue in a very good manner. I loved the warm vibes it radiated, and the suspense never ceased.

Good Casting-  HILARIOUS! I loved the comedy.

Psycho but its okay - Relatable. The comedy. The handsome male lead and his bird like eyes.

Secret Garden - The male lead was head over heels for her, but hated him when he was being a jerk. And the comedy was good.

I have edited the post. :)

These are dramas that I personally love:

  • Kill Me, Heal Me: it's a drama I really enjoyed watching because it kept me hooked until the end; it makes you want to keep watching.
  • My Father is Strange: there is a great variety of characters so it's really hard not to like at least one of them. It also never gets boring and I found it very interesting.
  • Memories of the Alhambra: I personally really loved this one. It's a sci-fi drama that made me cry lots.
  • Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim: I don't really watch medical dramas, but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Although the surgery scenes were a little too much for me, it's a very realistic drama with down-to-earth situations. It also made me cry a bunch.
  • Strong Woman Do Bong Soon: if you like fluffy supernatural dramas, you'll like this. Because it's the first drama I ever watched, it holds a special place in my heart.
  • The Secret Life of My Secretary: this one holds a special place in my heart too. It's a fluffy office romance with a fair amount of comedy. I honestly like all the main characters.
  • Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo: this one is a fluffy college drama. The main couple is really cute and it has its fair share of comedy.
  • Age of Youth: this one is filled with down-to-earth situations as well. It also includes a tinge of mystery along with a lot of comedy too. It is a very memorable drama to me. It has also made me cry a lot.
  • My Mister - very against the grain of all things kdrama cliche. You don't have the handsome, rich jerk chaebol Male Lead with some hidden childhood trauma that only be healed by that plucky, kind, understanding, and Poor candy girl female lead. This one is  insightful and profound type drama that would resonates for a very very very long time and for most anyone
  • Healer - fun, action-packed, comedic, suspenseful and  romantic. And with characters and narratives you just cant take your eyes off.
  • Misaeng - an office drama that is so palpable and realistic. if you are a young adult, this would totally feel so relatable and om point with the struggles of stepping into the adult world.
  • Tale of Nokdu - historical fluffy romcom. a very easy and fun watch

Extracurricular - if you like dark and gore stuff, underrated but really good

Prison Playbook - well acclaimed and good reviews, I've not seen it yet but it's on the top of my ptw list

Dream High - personal fav, gets better in the later eps, it's not the most amazing drama out there but is a nice watch

I just give you my list.

the reason each one of them in simple sentences.

I second My Mister: It is a very heartwarming and realistic series. Not enough words to describe it. If you like realistic dramas, with character-driver stories you will love it. Personally it is my favorite series of all time.

Children of Nobody: Since you liked nobody knows, I am almost 100% sure you will also like this one. This series deals with a very sensitive subject (child abuse) in a realistic way without being over-dramatic and without making the viewer cry every few seconds. It deals with a a lot of different things, but for me what made it a masterpiece was the fact that there are many moral dilemmas.

The Nokdu Flower: In my opinion this is one of the most underrated historical dramas. It has a great cast and it deals with a real historical event. It is a very inspiring story that doesn't sugar coat anything.

Six  Flying Dragons: Frankly, this drama doesn't start that strong. It is very complicated in the beginning especially for someone that hasn't watched any korean historical dramas before. However, it gets interesting as it progresses. All of the characters are memorable, there are some amazing fight scenes, that you  rarely see in a kdrama and Yoo Ah In is beyond phenomenal.

Hot Stove League: This is a really nice and heart-warming drama with fantastic performances. It deals with the preparation period of a baseball team. As a person that lives in a country that baseball is not well known (I doubt if there are any baseball clubs at all) I found it peculiar that I enjoyed it that much.

SKY Castle: Since I am being honest, this series doesn't start as strong as someone may think. It takes about 5 episodes to get into it, but after that it is simply great. It deals with the educational system in Korea. It is quite raw and heart-breaking. It has a fantastic direction and every actor is amazing. It is binge-worthy after the first 5 episodes.
