Eulachacha Waikiki

Thanks for the rec! ^^

I'm 77 and started watching Asian dramas three years ago.  (The first was are You Human, Too, followed by Goblin.)

Terius Behind You is a great suggestion - there is a family death in the first episode, but don't let that stop you. Great characters and action, many laughs in this one.  The previous poster mentioned those adorable 6-year-old twins. Plot deals with a spy in hiding from his own government, living in a large apartment complex, and the housewife who lives across the hall. The playground parents may have a better intelligence network than the government.

Go-Back Couple - comedy about a divorcing couple that goes back in time to just before they met in university, but with the perspective of an additional 18 years.

Crash Landing On You.

Terius Behind You seems like a popular recommendation! I haven't seen it at all so I'll definitely have a watch of it first before I decide wether to show them or not. The others I dropped because it got boring for me, except Are You Human Too which I completed. Though, I think they'll like Crash Landing on You, so I'll put that as a choice too. It's really great that dramas aren't just for kids, my parents previously had that conception until friends of my mum (similar ages) shared their favourite K-Dramas and C-Dramas haha.

Yeah, Terius Behind Me is such a family-friendly drama :) Crash Landing On You is also a great option!

Romance can be a little strange to watch with parents. I think comedy or thriller is better.

Comedy:
Eulachacha Waikiki
Eulachacha Waikiki 2
Mr. Queen    (also some romance of course)
The Sound of Your Heart

Thriller:
 Flower of Evil
Black
Vagabond
Kingdom
Kingdom: Season 2
Oh My Ghostess    (with comedy and romance, but is more of a ghost thriller i feel like)
Sisyphus: The Myth
Vincenzo
Designated Survivor: 60 Days

Ooooh these are great! Can you recommend me more comedy based dramas with happy endings? I just asked them what genre they would prefer to watch next and they said comedy with happy endings ^^'

Eulachacha Waikiki is awesome, pure awesome, and matches your criteria perfectly. Start watching that right away :)
The sound of your heart is a bit more dry humor, but it's really funny.
Eulachacha Waikiki is similar to Friends, light, fluffy and funny.

There aren't many similar kdramas out there honestly, comedy based throughout.

Look at the recommendations under the following series:
Eulachacha Waikiki
The Sound of Your Heart

I'm sure you'll find something comedy based throughout.
