My hack is High Priority = high priority but Low = short. If I'm meh enough to rank it low, why put it on the list in the first place and it's useful to be able to find short ones quickly. Medium = something I want to flag for any other reason. In theory I put the reason in the notes. Stress on in theory :)
After that it's custom lists, both mine and other people's. It's working well to narrow down the possibilities depending on what I'm in the mood for. I'm more likely to make and use notes too and skimming is so much easier than with the PTW black hole of good intentions. None for movies, as it's easy enough to sort by number of episodes to surface those from the depths. But you can make and organise custom lists anyway you want.
