Yes, it's popular amongst some site users. It might even be a sizable majority. Or it might not.

Some of us do find it to be too much. Every time we log in, when we use custom lists (big fan of those). Other places like the Explore start pages, ok, THAT can't be helped, though it does contribute to the feeling of enough already. C-drama gets a look in but rarely any of the other countries.

I know for myself, the constancy of all this manufactured celebrity "news" has decreased my interest in watching not just any of the featured titles or actors, but K-drama in general.

Unless these articles are somehow paying the bills to keep the servers running, could we have some sort of opt out for them please?

It is a requirement to fill in the empty content, but we should  make it where does not appear for logged-in users except for home..

If you need content to fill the empty space, then why did you discontinue the editorials? Editorials would be a good way to fill the space, and the editorials are more popular than the news articles.

It can be any type of content, and it pull from all recent posts.

If there’s empty space, fill it with editorials! I would so much rather see those than one more celebrity dating scandal or all-k-drama-all-the-time articles.

Please let us know why they’ve been discontinued and how we can get them to come back!

I don’t handle editorial tasks or manage them. Please forget that I ever replied, and it would be nice if we avoided hijacking this topic.

The problem is no one is ever replying! We feel like we have to hijack the conversation because we’re being ignored.
(I think we’re actually right on topic, tbh, since news articles have taken over everything….)

Reducing it to one page would certainly help.

But why is it a requirement? It might be how the code is written, but even that could be empty space. Some of us would prefer it.

Editorials would likely be an improvement over manufactured K-celeb gossip. I don't consider the topic hijacked. Part of the value of Suggestions threads is other ideas coming in. "Empty space" is a manufactured concept on an internet site though, it's not like a printed page.

I'd still prefer if all of that sort of thing were somewhere I could choose to look at when I want, but at least editorials would be different and (hopefully) more reflective of the diversity of the community here.
