Missing pictures via MDL's old picture hoster

Is there a way to get pictures back that disappeared when MDL's picture hoster changed it's urls (or whatever happened there, I think someone said it was something to do with that), as I have an article I created two years ago that apart from the last picture that I used a separate picture hoster with since it uploaded as blurry on MDL's, but all the other pictures where I used the direct picture upload at the time, have disappeared.

As mentioned, in my article, which is here. All the pictures apart from the last, were uploaded directly to MDL's picture hoster at the time, but now they are missing.  On various people's profile pages as well there's pictures missing that were once uploaded directly to MDL (or rather it's picture hoster).
