Last night, I posted to the thread

https://mydramalist.com/discussions/non-asian-music/147-what-was-the-last-song-non-asian-that-you-listened-to

And my post was listed as the most recent in the sidebar, but it did not show up in the thread itself. The thread stayed at 543 pages, with the most recent post showing being one made 9 days ago. Now, the thread shows another update in the sidebar

"What was the last song (non Asian) that you listened to?

 1 hour ago - Mon"

but that one also does not show up - the thread is still stuck/locked on the last psot made 9 days ago?

Updating to add a screenshot that shows the most recent post listed not only in the sidebar but in the main forum listing, complete with the user's avatar. But there is no change in the thread itself

Please create a new thread for it.

that happens with really long threads, it starts glitching like with that last episode you watched thread.

yes, it's happening to several threads at the moment.

I did this for the "what was the last book you read" thread, but others are still posting to the original thread, which does not load for me, only showing posts from 12 days ago. The most recent post (as I write this) is from a user who has blocked me, but this is  a thread I would like to be able to participate in so if the original thread can either be fixed so that I can access it or locked it so that new submissions are made to the new thread, that would be great.

^ I think the solution is to lock the old thread. If the admin/staff can create a separate post to list all the threads with the same issue, it'll be easier to maintain them.
