Top 25 BL Dramas

I absolutely love this story, the acting is great and it's raw.  I, personally, like shows that don't have too much background music and sound effects (a lot of Thai dramas have sill and fun sound effects that they subtly slip in) it just makes it more real. This drama holds a special place in my heart because it was one of the first BLs I had ever watched. Bai Lou Yin is my favorite probably because I can easily relate to him and his acting is great. Luckily, they are planning to make a Taiwanese season 2 (because it was banned and canceled in China due to China's censorship laws)

This has to be my favorite story EVER. I have watched the drama multiple times, the anime 2 or 3 times, read the novel, and read the manhua (it's sad that people don't know there are several versions of the story because the anime is absolutely beautiful, I absolutely love the art style of the anime. Btw, the anime is called mo dao zu shi and the novel is called the grandmaster of demonic cultivation). I literally know every single scene. If you watch it for the BL then you might be a little disappointed as it had to be censored due to China's homophobia. But it is still a BL as there are many scenes where it is obvious (they just had to make it seem more like a bromance than romantic relationship). But guys... IT IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL STORY

This will always be a very memorable BL for me as it was my very first BL. It's a great show that is fantastic at easing people into BL. It isn't too intense but it also shows a healthy relationship that still shows the struggles that a gay couple can have (especially in season 2). Season 1 is more flirty Kongpob and awkward arthit and I also like that their isn't really any of the "but I'm a guy" when the two are getting closer. 

This is one of the first (it's the second I believe) Korean BL shows (Korea's coming for you Thailand) and I ranked this so high because of how precious it was. Sangha was the cutest little bean and every thing he does and goes though makes your heart ache especially since the actor that plays him is fantastic. I really suggest this one is you just want a cute short BL. IT'S WAY TOO SHORT THO (10 minutes per episode and 8 episodes?)

This BL is honestly so refreshing and unique, the relationship is so healthy. There isn't any trust issues or misunderstandings with a third party like Thai BLs usually gravitate to for their main plot. Everything in this show is amazing, the acting, the music, the chemistry (main couple and side couple), the plot, the friendships.(ughhhhh I love this one) In short... This series is emotional trauma at it's finest.

I have watched this drama and have read the novel and yes it is censored but there is still BL, like it's obvious that the main couple is in a romantic relationship and not just a bromance. And luckily Chai Jidan learned from Addicted and made sure to tone it down a bit so that it didn't get banned. This story is extremely cute though and even though Xia you is an annoying brat that screams way too much on a motorcycle (you'll get what I mean when you watch it) the relationship between him and Yuan Zong is precious.

I love season 2 so much more than season 1 (maybe because there is a lot more in season 2?) anyways, I find this story to be extremely cute and soft (there might be a season 3 and I'm literally so excited because the cliffhanger in season 2 sucked)

I came for Saint (he plays Tutor) but stayed for Fighter x Tutor. Holy sh!t this drama is so cute!!! I actually avoided this drama for a while because I didn't like the description but I started watching it because I saw Saint was in it (Love By Chance it one of my favorites and Saint is precious) but Fight x Tutor is truly cute. There is so much I want to say about this but I don't want to spoil it! Just go watch it!

There isn't much to be said about this one, everyone knows how spectacular it is.

There was only one down side to this show and it was episode 10, absolutely nothing else. The acting is fantastic, the chemistry is adorable, the story line is just too cute. I just ignored that episode 10 even happened, like I get why they did that considering the title but still they were so many things they could have done differently and it would have worked. I really suggest that you watch this thought, it's totally worth it.

It actually took me a while to watch this because I watched Bad Romance first (did not like that, Bad Romance comes after together with me) and got the two shows mixed up. However, Together With Me is a very cute show and is one of the few BLs where there is a female character that is actually nice and supportive of the main couple (oh my god I love Yihwa)

This show will make you frustrated. I'm telling you right now to be prepared for waves of frustration. Don't let that stop you from watching it though because it's all worth it due to how cute it is. But the ending is totally worth the whole roller coaster, like literally the last few minutes of the show make you smile like a complete idiot.

Boundary Crossing is soooooo cute

The only reason I placed this so low on my list is because of the acting. It's actually one of my favorites and is totally worth watching though. It's also a classic.

I love their relationship but it's just so complicated, Pete gets jealous way to easily (his jealousy was kinda justifiable though) he just didn't trust Kao and that caused a lot of issues. Overall it's a pretty darn cute show (but Kiss me again comes first so if you want to understand their relationship better than I suggest you watch that first, I made the mistake of not doing that. You can always watch the cut version if you don't want to watch the other couples)

This one is very cute and realistic. It shows real emotions that someone can have but it also shows the unreasonable side of life. And I also believe that this is the first Korean BL show (I may be wrong, I just remember a friend telling me that. I didn't believe that at first because Long Time No See is a Korean BL show but I don't know)

This one... it's hard to explain. I personally really liked it because I liked the concept and how everything played out.

I actually don't really get the hype about this show, I think it's over rated and pretty simple (follows a lot of the same actions and themes that a lot of Thai BL are centered around) yes it is cute and Sarawat is a sweetheart (Tine is an absolute oblivious airhead my gosh) 

There are very few Korean BL shows that are actually BL (I can name 3 including this), It's very cute and the couple coming together and their process was simply adorable.

I know this is a movie and not a show but I watched this pretty recently and absolutely loved it. It is a sequel to His- I Didn't Think I Would Fall In Love (this one is a show) however it can be watched as a standalone. I just thought that both the show and movie were adorable and cute and ughh I loved it (they also don't have the weird hair styles that a lot of men in Japanese movies have (especially Japanese movies based off of mangas).

I really only came for Ram x King, their relationship is so healthy and the chemistry is really amazing. The side couple was way better than the main couple (in my opinion). I also really liked Mek x Boss.

I'm not really sure why I like this one so much. I find it very endearing how the ML treats the MC and even though the beginning is a bit confusing it's very cute to watch.

I didn't like this one as much as others just because the relationship was wayyy too toxic. If you're fine with people forcing themselves onto others then you'll be fine with this though (just don't read the novel because it's even worst)

This show.... It's another one that's hard for me to explain, in the beginning I was smiling like a goof and laughing stupidly but near the end it just got kinda boring for me, I think there are better ways they could have written it. ALSO THE ENDING SUCKED
