BL Completed Shows with Reviews 2026

I rated this lower than 2 Moons 2 because I felt Wayo and Pha had less chemistry in this version. I enjoyed the storyline but I felt the overall tone and the characters maturity level suited a high school setting more than university.

I waited about a week before watching 2 moons 2 after finishing 2 Moons because I was skeptical. In my experience, sequels and BLs dont always mix well as they often introduce unecessary drama or create conflicts between the leads just to add tension - and that is something I personally do not enjoy.

Luckily, this was avoided. The first 4 episodes follow the same storyline as 2 Moons, I actually didn't mind as it gave the characters and relationships a chance to develop differently.

Compared to the first season, I felt as Pha and Wayo had much better chemistry and were more affectionate to each other. I enjoyed the side couples and how they got a chance to develop.

This is an improvement from the first season and a stronger watch for me.

I know this is a classic in the BL community and it feels like everyone has watched this. However, for me it is forgettable.

I think my perspective will be different because I came into BL later, after watching newer shows that are more comfortable experimenting with the genre and pushing boundaries. Because of that , I think this is a show you have to appreciate as a homage to one of the OG BLs.

While I enjoyed the friendships and overall charm of the characters, the romance didn't work for me. The romance was stronger fake dating compared to when they were officially together. It felt more like a friendship than a romantic one. I prefer Bright's character as there was growth there compared to Win's.

I am such a big fan of About Youth.

Every time I see Xu Qi Zhang, his smile is infectious. He is the definition of a green flag and what I love the most is that he likes Ye Guang for who he is not because of his image or expectation.

My favourite scene is when Ye Guang follows Xu Qi Zhang to his performance and gets to see a different side of him. The teasing from his friends when Ye Guang watched his show gets me every time.

The music was genuinely great as I have them on my playlist even after finishing.

This is a sweet and heartwarming BL and it is definitely one of my favourites. The re-watchability is high for me as I come to this when I want something warm , comforting and lighthearted.

ABO Desire was my first introduction to the Omegaverse and I had never heard of the concept before watching this.

I randomly came across a BL edit of the show on TikTok and decided to give it a try. I was immediately fascinated by each episode and ended up spending an entire Saturday watching it. However, I did stop halfway though as I find Chinese shows harder to understand.

But something about this show stayed in my mind. While watching another drama, I couldn't stop thinking about it and came back to continue.

What makes this so memorable for me was the ending....cliche I know. Because of the Omega Verse setting, the story is able to explore a different kind of future including building a family together. I love a full cycle and seeing their relationship continue beyond the typical BL ending was satisfying also incredibly interesting. I really felt like these two main characters loved each other, the playful dynamic of Alpha and Enigma that was originally there before children was still present....it is my ideal type of ending so the rating will be higher. The show sticks in my mind because of how rewarding the ending feels.

The second couple story was interesting, their ending was rushed and not completed. I wish we got closure.

Thank you Tiktok for recommending this, now I am currently watching KNOT - Thailand's introduction to Omegaverse. Both different but entertaining.

I watched this as it was recommended after Top Form/Deep In where a newcomer actor falls in love with a famous actor troupe. I thought this Japanese version wasn’t too bad, it was awkward in some parts.

I was moved by typhoons sorry. It had depth that I crave compared to the rest of the series + couples before. This one felt more realistic to my life.

for a vertical drama, I loved this.It was easy to watch, quick and had the chemistry I craved from the leads. underrated and I wish more people talked about it.

I think the best thing about this is the kiss scenes.
