So I reached episode 10, and then I just could not force myself to watch next one. It lost the spart like 2 episodes ago. It's also a hella strange mix of makjang and slice of life. Two genres that I feel like should never be mixed...

The politics were the best part, but somehow had the least screentime. A lot of focus on relations between people, but I feel like the relations should be revealed while they do their job, and not the job being like a background story for the relations to be shown... Also not into the pairing, since FL is legit infuriating with how she treats the dude.

Listen... I don't even care how good the story might be, the process of storytelling is one of the biggest trash I have ever seen. Also, sure some of the things I find dumb now might be explain later, but some things are just bad with no explanation - the production team just did not give a fuck about details. Like the CGI is too often awful. Or stuff like FL and ML jumping at the same time together, but somehow ML landing in the water a lot later... physics what?

Grown up woman gets lost and instead of borrowing someone's phone to call her own phone she runs around like an idiot being scared and then crying in the arms of younger ML. I cannot.

I just cannot. Nothing makes sense, and I don't even mean the fantasy/sci-fi elements. The romance is bullshit and painful to watch. Kim Go Eun  was miscast on a whole new level and does not fit the character at all. The villain is just annoying - 7 episodes in and they did not explain anything plot wise (I don't mean the mechanics of the parallel universes and time travel, I mean literally plot, characters motivations, background etc.), so it makes me think it's either shitty pacing and they will dump everything on me closer to the end, or just not explain half of the things at all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
