Dramas I Dropped and Why

No clue, I'll probably try this one again.

I adored the ML, but I just couldn't stand how dragged out the crush Xiao Ju had on Cheng Lang was, it got very annoying. The side couples drama was beyond what I could stand, he was such a douche but I knew she was going to forgive him eventually so I decided to spare myself that. 

LOVE Xu Kai and LOVE his chemistry with Bai Lu, but this drama was too slow for me, I think that might just be a me problem because there really wasn't anything wrong with this drama. Maybe I'll give it another chance someday.

LOVE Xu Kai (like really love), but this was soooo boring, and especially during their breakup, I also don't really like the FL she was constantly making poor decisions and it was stressing me out.

Could not feel any chemistry between the ML and FL, and when I found out their real age gap I felt gross. 

Cringe. Cringe. CRINGE (and not in a good way)... the only interesting characters were the second couple. I adore Ahn Hyo-seop but for some reason his acting was really lacking in this one. 

I was loving this in the beginning, but it lost me around halfway through. I really didn't like the ML, he spent so much time making it clear to the FL that he would not love her, so of course she's insecure and doubts him when he starts to actually have feelings for her, and instead of reassuring her he found a way to turn the situation around and make her the bad guy, and then she spent too much time pining and I couldn't stomach it; she was too good for him.

Lee Min Ho's deep V-necks... that's it, that's the whole reason.

Dare I say the best Xu Kai has ever looked, he was so beautiful and miserable, but I knew it was going to be a very sad ending and I couldn't cope.

I would have finished this solely for Park Bo-Gum but not even his wonderful self could make me suffer through another poorly choreographed action sequence. I enjoyed the FL but I couldn't get behind the romance. 

Icky age gap. 

I was in LOVE with the first half, but then it started to drag, and I was not the biggest fan of Jinyoung's acting in this (I do think he's gotten much better, I loved him in Our Unwritten Seoul).

I thought the leads had decent chemistry, but the ML made me so mad for the better part of the show that I couldn't like him at all even when he started warming up to the FL more. I like these kinds of small town, beachside, tight-knit community, slice of life dramas but the towns people in this just pissed me off and I couldn't look past it. I also didn't like the inclusion of what felt like a very unnecessary and random love triangle. 

I want to give this another shot but I'm so SCARED. love the FL though.

I don't vibe with unnecessary AI use... Gross.

I kept waiting for the ML to become more likable but he didn't, and I got very bored very quick. 

who know's I honestly don't even remember starting this.

I probably would've finished this drama because I really enjoyed most aspects of it, but it was making me way too sad. I couldn't stand the way people treated Tae-Yang and I also couldn't stand that she was allowing herself to be treated this way. Tae-Joon's mother was beyond insufferable. 

I'm tempted to give this another chance, but it was just way too slow for me. 

I think I was expecting and wanting something a bit more sad/melodramatic, and instead it was very light hearted and cute, which really surprised me and let me down considering I've been trying to watch this for months but was only recently able to because it was just put on Prime.

Zero chemistry between the leads, horrible visual effects, and a messy storyline. Good concept, bad execution. 

I might give this another try, I can't explain what turned me away from this at the last minute I think I got annoyed by the ML. Storyline was great though. 

I didn't like the ML

Too juvenile, which I know is the point but I just wasn't enjoying it.

This was my first ever body switch drama, and this made me realized I HATE that trope.

Great chemistry, but boring plot and was cringey at certain points.

The romance between the lead was amazing but the rest of the show was cringey and boring.

The main couple was SO cute, but that was all that was good about this, so I just watch their scenes and skipped the rest so I consider this drama dropped.

I know this is really superficial but I just couldn't with the ML's haircut, it was awful and so distracting I couldn't finish the show. Although in light of recent events I'm glad I dropped it. 

It must be something about Kim So-Hyun I have never been able to finish a drama with her in it, and the ML's acting was horrible. 

I liked the college setting and the leads chemistry, but something about them was also very stiff and awkward and I couldn't look past it. Also the ML creeps me out.

honestly I kinda just forgot about this one because I had other dramas I was watching that I enjoyed way more. I might revisit it. 

I didn't like the way the ML acted with her in the beginning it almost made me feel shame, maybe he gets better but I didn't care to stick around to find out. 

the most boring drama I've ever had the displeasure of watching. 

WAY too overdramatic for me. 

I absolutely loved the story in the past but the present was very boring and they were all bad actors. 

boring story, boring chemistry, boring everything omg.

Good chemistry but that's it. I will say I'm happy I tried this because it gave me more of a sense of Daniel Zhou's acting, and I think that from Always Home to this to Never Ending Summer, he has grown so much as an actor and I'm very excited for what else he'll do.

I will try again one day but I got scared of the sad ending.

this one is self explanatory.

Another shallow reason, but I was let down that the tattoos were fake, also it was really boring.

I can't stand unnecessary serial killer subplots.

Their drama got too annoying.

I definitely didn't give this one a fair chance, but Joy's acting was awful and Moon Ga-Young's character pissed me off.

I couldn't get past him pretending to be her brother it was too weird for me.

I love this for the sole reason it introcuded me to Zhang Ling He but towards the end with the whole 'him keeping her mothers cancer a secret from her and her instantly forgiving him' thing I was fed up, I understand the whole confidentiality thing but christ dude that's your girlfriends mom.

I need to try this one again too.

WAY too insta-love. It never felt like a real romance.

I was very iffy on this drama the entire time and I couldn't ever figure out if I hated the ML's acting or not, but it eventually just lost my interest.

LOVEEE Xu Kai, but not even my love for him was enough to suffer through that many episodes of bad CGI and poor plot.

Xiao Zhan is so gorgeous and talented omg, he was almost enough for me to finish this but again too long and boring, and I didn't like the third act breakup.

I really liked them together, but all the other drama was not interesting at all and just annoyed me.

Everyone and their mother loved this except for me apparently. Actually I did love most things about it (especially the FL), I just could not handle how childish and immature the ML was.

I knew it was gonna have a sad ending so I decided to spare myself that and cause the brother annoyed the hell out of me.

The mother daughter thing was weird to me, and again with Kim So-Hyun I just can't finish anything with her in it.

something about this creeped me out and not in a good way, I just didn't like the way it made me feel.

Self explanatory, again.

the ending was spoiled for me and after that I didn't think it was worth it.

this one is controversial, but I just didn't vibe with the main couple.

TOXIC and not in a fun way, I found the ml horrible, and beautiful Suzy's acting awful.

I've tried twice to get through this drama which says a lot about how much I wanted to like it cause I almost never try a dropped drama again, but the whole childhood kidnapping plot, the brother, and park min young with her cringy mannerisms I just couldn't do it

BORING

Just bad with an unnecessary romance.
