1. Lovers of the Red Sky
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
Watch history: December 25 to December 31 I Platform: Plex.tv
OST: -
Prior thoughts: Oh no... Kdrama historical fantasy romance... Just giving it a go for Ahn hyo Sub and Saeguk genre but I expect cringe and non existent chemistry.
Final thoughts:
The beginning was interesting but it got draggy towards the end and I didn't like how there was a ton going on. Like the danger from the demon, Ha Rams revenge, Prince's rebellion and so much other little unnecessary obstacles like this dude who hunts Cheon Gi bc she once made him go to jail and Cheon Gi's burden of taking care of demented father. It was kinda too much and actually uninteresting. They should've focused more on the demon and at least made him say more than "My eyes" the whole time. at some point he wasn't scary anymore but only annoying. They also should've included Samshin and the Tiger Spirit more and not make them show up a few times and do and talk the bare minimum. I though we finally got some serious fantasy mythology action plot but at the end it was a typical romance drama that wanted to spice itself up with some fantasy.

2. Novoland: Pearl Eclipse
Chinese Drama - 2021, 48 episodes
Watch history: December 7 to December 28 I Platform: Plex.tv
OST: Once in a lifetime heartbeat, Crab Shell (op), Birthday (fav)Final thoughts:
.... and then after faking his death a few times he finally died... or did he?...
Hated the male lead till the end. Liked the emperor and Haishi. -
3. The Silent Sea
Korean Drama - 2021, 8 episodes
-
4. Kieta Hatsukoi
Japanese Drama - 2021, 10 episodes
Watch history: December 20 to December 24 I Platform: Plex.tv
OST: Secret Touch
Final thought:
This was very cute and a good detox from Pearl Eclipse. But everything was so rushed and the stroy is just a trope over trope of a shoujo manga. There was nothing surprising. Well its easy to digest and wholesome. -
5. Peach of Time
Korean Drama - 2021, 10 episodes
Watch history: Nov 23 to Dec 19 I Platform: Plex.tv
OST: All Days WereYou
Final thoughts:
Honestly besides Tommys character and acting I didn't like anything in this. The acting was bad and the plot overdramatic for this format. Ofc there was also no chemistry and actually the romance/flirting scenes were painfully cringe to me, I skipped some of the skinship and kiss scenes ngl. 5 points is my personal lowest score in terms of enjoyment/appreciation, anything lower than that must've had something that offended me wich is not the case in here, its just bad. -
6. Parallel Love
Chinese Drama - 2020, 24 episodes
Watch history: Oct 16 to Dec 19 I Platform: Youtube.com
OST: Countdown To Meet You
Final thoughts:
This drama got way to draggy in second half and all the supporting characters were annoying tbh. -
7. The King's Affection
Korean Drama - 2021, 20 episodes
Watch history: Dec 5 to Dec 19 (on air) I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: Shadow Of You, If I
Final thoughts:
This was an emotional romance and intrigue story right up my ally. But I wished it had at least 30 episodes. Most of the characters lacked a good behind story that would explain their personality and actions. For e.g Jaeyun loved and respected and protected the FL so much since they were childten and it is only explained that he is done so because he wanted to. Ok... how about we show how the FL earned his dedication back then?
And also some of the plot events even though interesting, were too rushed.
But I enjoyed the story and the chemistry very much overall. I would rewatch this with a friend. -
8. Less Than Evil
Korean Drama - 2018, 32 episodes
Watch history: Dec 11 2018 to Nov 22 2021 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: Shadow
Fanal thoughts:
This took me 3 years to finish > < -
9. Nevertheless,
Korean Drama - 2021, 10 episodes
Watch history: November 15 to November 16 I Platform: Netflix (Ger)
OST: Butterfly
Final Thoughts:
Well I didn't get what the male leads problem was. You like that girl? She likes you back? Just date... I mean I guess there was a deeper reason why he was afraid of commitment but it wasn't really communicated in the drama. I did enjoy the chemistry but I didn't buy him falling for her at first sight at the exhibition. -
10. The Penthouse Season 2: War in Life
Korean Drama - 2021, 13 episodes
Watch history: March 22 to November 14 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: The Morass, Repeatedly
Final Thoughts:
good makjang but it got worse towards the end and thats why I wont be watching the next season. The story is prett wraped up for me after (spoiler) the all got into jail, eventhough some didnt really get what they deserved but its a conclusion nevertheless to me :) -
11. Taxi Driver
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
Watch history: November 6 to November 14 I Platform: Online ( rus sub+dub)
OST: PlaylistFinal thoughts:
Loved it. But I was missing more of Taxi action scenes. I usually hate car chasing scenes and stunts but somehow I loved them here but they totally ditched the Taxi towards the end T-T.buddy watch with mom

12. My Name
Korean Drama - 2021, 8 episodes
Watch history: October 30 to October 31 I Platform: Netflix (Ger)
OST: -
Final thoughts:
Mom enjoyed it very much eventhough she kept complaining how it was unrealistic that the FL was hurt so often and even penetrated with knifes multiple times but still coul stand and even fight XD I guess as a former ER nurse it was really bothering her.
As for me it was as I expected, not my cup of tea. Too much bloody fights, too little emotional story and too little connection between characters. Sure the twist was good but the time before that was kinda boring. I really hated seeing the drug industry.buddywatch with Mom
-
13. Squid Game
Korean Drama - 2021, 9 episodes
Watch history: August 22 to October 10 I Platform: Netflix (Ger )
OST: -
Final thoughts:
Yes, I would say ins a good beginner lvl kdrama but was nothing special to someone with a lot of drama experince ( If I may say so XD ) like me. I am happy that it got so popular around the world and introduced some people to the Korean entertainment media, but there are other dramas who deserve the praise from international critics.buddywatch with Mom

14. The Gifted Graduation
Thai Drama - 2020, 13 episodes
Watch history: September 16 to September 30 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: -
Final thoughts:
What a ride. I enjoyed it slightly better than first season. This was definitely more intense but sometimes it felt like too many plot twist.
Plus I don't think Pangs way of dealing with the potential was a good idea. Here I must agree with Supot, making anyone release their power at the same time and without teaching them how to or not to use it is apocalyptic. As if there are only nice responsible young people out there, criminals and psypaths still exists too you know... (like Supot) -
15. Hana Nochi Hare: HanaDan Next Season
Japanese Drama - 2018, 11 episodes
Watch history: September 7 to September 12 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: First Love by Utada Hikaru, Cidarella Girl (OP)
Final thoughts:
Well this was frustrating to watch without a satisfying end. I understand how you can like both Tenma and Haruto but girl wanted to be with Tenma mostly to fulfill her mothers wish to get rich again. Romantic scenes in this are almost non existent and very VERY short, isnt this supposed to be a romance drama? -
16. Master Devil Do Not Kiss Me Season 2
Chinese Drama - 2017, 23 episodes
Watch history: September 4 to September 9 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: OP 2
Final thoughts:
I just like the characters and the story is simple but cute. I liked the first season more tho without the annoying ex girlfriend, but she wasnt as bad as I expected.
I wish the story with Chuxias father would come up earlier and nt at the almost very end bc it is kinda dramatic but they brushed it off.
Overall I would not mind to see another 2 seasons with the same cast,Prior thoughts: First seasons was just surprisingly entertaining and makes me really wanna continue the series BUT it seems like his first love who is coming back here will be very annoying and split the ship for a while. I need to be in trashy melodrama mood XD

17. Light on Me
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
Watch history: September 5 to September 7 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: Spark , Fever, You (inst)
Final Thoughts:
I wrote semi lengthy review but klicked beside the window so everything was deleted. I am screaming internally rn. -
18. Crush
Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes
Watch history: August 22 to August 30 I Platform: IQiyi app
OST: As I Believe , Meeting YouFinal thoughts:
I liked the couple and the fact that they become a couple while the male lead is still blind but this drama had too many plot holes or rather the writer didnt bother to write some scenes. Sometimes it really felt like I personally skipped something but it wasnt in the drama at all.
The example I can remember is this plot point in the very last episode. This was so weird like we see them getting married, having to take care of an authistic child for a few day wich was cute, then the FL gets pregnant we see the male lead take care of her, we hear male lead identity as a song writer getting exposed to the media (appearently reporters are chasing him but we sont see any) and the the female lead looks like she is having a miscarriage, is rushed to the hospital, next scene she wakes up in the hospital and asks about the baby ML says baby is fine next scene is 1 or 2 years later they are walking with their daughter, the end. Like what was the point?! This was a big case of telling bit not showing the plot in a drama. -
19. Love Alarm
Korean Drama - 2019, 8 episodes
Watch history: August 14 to August 15 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: In My Little Mind
Final thoughts:
bruh...
I dont like where this is going.
I`m team Sun Oh till the end! But with each episode I start to dislike the female lead more and more. Like gurl just beg Son Oh for forgiveness, tell him that you made a mistake back then and start the realtionship anew! He would take you back, he loves you so much TT-T -
20. At a Distance, Spring Is Green
Korean Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
Watch history: August 4 to August 8 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: Hug , Then & Now
Final thoughts:
Was a nice smooth watch. I liked the three characters, but they werent very special or very interesting. The parents abuse story was too heavy for the overall feel of the drama, they slowly build up to Yep Joons childhood trauma due to harsh physical and psychological abuse but at the end it was rushed and solved in a single episode. This was weird. -
21. TharnType
Thai Drama - 2019, 12 episodes
-
22. Imitation
Korean Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
Watch history: July 18 to July 25 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: Show Me. Trouble Maker, Like When We First Met, My Old Story, Closer
Final thoughts:
The story was ok, but there was no chemistry. And Ma Ha is miscast imo.

23. I Promised You the Moon
Thai Drama - 2021, 5 episodes
Watch history: July 20 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: Playlist
Final thoughts:
I like the production and the acting but the relationship was frustrating and I wanted Oh Aew to live his life without Teh. Teh is basically the villian for me here. -
24. Fish Upon the Sky
Thai Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
Watch history: July 20 to July 25 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: by Getsunova, Beside (op), by Mix Sahaphap
Final thoughts:
This was an ok watch. It got better in the last 4 pisodes but Pi was annoying most of the time. The acting was bad, the plot made often no sense but I kinda still enjoyed the cute cliche scenes XDAuthor of Theory Of Love & 2gether
-
25. The Long Ballad
Chinese Drama - 2021, 49 episodes
Watch history: July 12 to July 17 I Platform: Viki.com (Ger)
OST: The Direction Of Light (Opening), Cocoon (Ending), Falling Sand.
Final thoughts:
Overall the quality of it was good, but not very good. The pacing was surprisingly excellent for a 49 episode drama, it actually never dragged. The logic of events was sometimes not there and very obvious that the script writers bend some of logic to make the leads awesome. Espc Changge, at no point did I feel like she would be in danger or that she will fail in her schemes well bc she never did XD She always wins lol. But I could ignore the conveniences because the story and characters were enjoyable and entertaining. I also liked how there was romance but it didnt take away from the serious issues in the life of Changge, it was secondary but still important and well developed. That was a drama that left me wanting more of it of more similiar story.
SPOILER
I honestly didn't expect this drama to have a happy ending, so many tragic things happened that I thought its gonna have a bitter sweet end but I was wrong and I'm glad.
PS: I'll never forget how I almost threw away this gem bc I wanted to drop it after 2 episodes. So glad I kept watching. -
26. The Rational Life
Chinese Drama - 2021, 35 episodes
Watch history: July 03 to July 10 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: Zhi Chi Xing Hai, Opening Inst.
Final thoughts:
I feel a little sad that I finished this already because I dont want to part with the characters and their love as well as buiseness lifes.
Ruo Xin was a really good strong but still cute character while Qi Xiang was an unrealistic but heartwarming 23yo. I liked them bothe very much and I feel very happy about the ending.
The plot was slow paced but not draggy. It was quite simple, just people living their lifes and encountering and overcoming small setbacks. It felt quite authentic. I also like how there were characters them came and made an impact on the characters/plot but also went away after a while bc thats also what happens in life. People come and go and at the moment you think they will are important but with time you understand that theyre insignificant to you. But really important and loyal people stay.
The side couples were a little bland but their stories werent to much present just the right amount and their issues were also realistic and common in specific time periods in life I think.
Like having kids or not and starting a career.
The problems werent presented im a too depressing way so this is deffinetly a feel good drama.
Note: I started this bc of the genres and bc I wanted to determine if Dylan can be added to my fav actor list, but I'm still not sure, still need to watch more of his works. -
27. Miss the Dragon
Chinese Drama - 2021, 36 episodes
Watch history: June 27 to July 04 I Platform: Viki.com (Ger)
OST: Ending, Please come, Different, A hundred miles of green mountains without sleep
Final thoughts:
I must say this was better than I expected when I first started watching. Dylan and the second couple kept me going and each lifetime of Luiying was slightly more interesting. But I must say Chenyue was the best reincarnation of her and also had more interesting plot, I wish the drama would end with her and not Qingyan. But either way I really like how it ended, I like how equally destributed the importance was between the Dragon King and Yin Soul couple and the Lonely Star and Blue Bird couple and that Lonely Star managed to safe them both and let them be happy is so wholesome, friendship rules! -
28. She Would Never Know
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
Watch history: June 23 to July 03 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: Lean On Me,
Final thougts:
Well this was a drama full with outdated and boring romance tropes and characters.
Main couple had luke warm chemistry (maybe bc they both are just boring characters) the second male lead was a joke and the office team was cliche as hell. Honestly its another drama where most interesting aspects are given to secondary cast but also never been explore properly.
Like the married man who is struggling with his sexuality, the wife who feels depressed only being a house wife and the rich girl who has psychological issues where she is on the edge of a suicide. Sounds very intense and serious right? Well the writer of this drama say „its just a phase, let them be“ and at the end everyone is suddently ok.
SPOILER
My favorite character were Hyun Seungs oldest sister and an wanted to see their wedding ceremony but Im so salty we got a wedding dress shot of Song Ah at the end instead -_-
This drama feels like a waste of my time tbh, it doesnt even have 1 memorable ost -
29. Girl from Nowhere
Thai Drama - 2018, 13 episodes
Watch history: June 06 to July 03 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: -
Final thougts:
I expected to get spooked or shocked by the stories but all I got is annoyence by missing logic and plotholes in general. I also found Nanno a boring character, I guess they wanted to make her myterious but for me she was an empty shell, not a even little hint to her backstory or her motives. My favorite episode would be probably the one with the thief boy bc it seemed like Nanno had some attachment to him. -
30. Last Cinderella
Japanese Drama - 2013, 11 episodes
Watch history: June 29 to July 03 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: YT Playlist (all of bgm is good)
Final thoughts:
This was entertaining enough with some cute and wholesome scenes but way too unrealistic and old fashioned lol Sakura was on another level of what I’m used to of weird lead characters. (Can’t imagine an actual person being like this, lädet alone a 40yo omg more like 4yo)
Honestly I don’t understand how this is from 2013 everything from plot to fashion feels like 2005-7 kdrama haha XD -
31. We Best Love: Fighting Mr. 2nd
Taiwanese Drama - 2021, 6 episodes
Watch history: May 30 to June 21 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: Hard To Let Go (Op), The Love LetterFinal thoughts:
I loved the cinematography, the locations , the fashion, the overall look of this drama. The chemistry between main couple is also great, but I was a little disaappointed by Shi De's behavior at the beginning (very overbearing) and his reason for ghosting Shu Yi for 5 years...
Also the second couple was too weird for me to enjoy, I think the directing of their scenes was a little off.
Still I hope to see all the couples in a third season.
Buddy watch with @Bateumaan -
32. Beyond Evil
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
Watch history: April 2 to June 20 I Platform: Viki.com (Ger)
OST: The Night (Ending) , Timeless Inst.Final thoughts:
This was a good crime drama. Rather than being thrilling or exciting it was just purely interesting and often confusing but in a good way. This drama is also one of the few where the plot and characters get more and more interesting with each episode, till the very last one. -
33. The Shipper
Thai Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
Watch history: June 6 to June 9 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: I Belong To You (Op), Sad SongFinal thoughts:
This drama was nearly perfect to me. The plot was interesting and funny, the characters cute and never annoying and there were many touching lessons.
Screen writer of Great Men Academy and screen writer of The Gifted worked on this, so no wonder the plot was good and logical. -
34. Lovely Writer
Thai Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
Watch history: May 26 to June 6 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: ONE TO TEN (Op) , Maybe YesFinal thoughts:
Lol they really didnt want to let the drama end hahaha, all these different ending and everytime I thought now the episode would end but they keep breaking the fourth wall and adding another meta scene. This was very interesting but I personally didnt like that the characters suddently were aware of me observing them...
But hey this drama exceeded my expectations overall. The main couple and their story were really good, the side characters and side stories mostly boring and disconnected from the main couple. The directing and quality was nice eventhough it had sometimes draggy scenes but most importantly the realtionship between Sib and Gene had not a drip of toxicity, I also could understand each one of them. They were just so lovely and will be one of my fav couple this year. -
35. Koi wa Tsuzuku yo Doko Made mo
Japanese Drama - 2020, 10 episodes
Watch history: May 22 to May 23 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: I love...
Final thoughts:
This was highly average and predictable shoujo story with typical characters and set up. I enjoyed the looks and voice of male lead the most haha. Thats what I call a quick snack drama. -
36. A Tale of Thousand Stars
Thai Drama - 2021, 10 episodes
Watch history: Aprl 24 to April 30 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: OP, Wind
Final thoughts:
I really liked the drama and the vibes overall but the plot of the last 3 episodes was so unnecessary dramatic *rme* but it redeemed itself in the last scene and the epilogue <3
Oh and another minus is the village residents… I’m still wondering how one can show no emotions whatsoever as a human being. Where did they get those “actors “ they were horrible and sometimes creepy. I mean I’m aware that they weren’t actors but a normal person could still show more on the face lol -
37. Oh, Mando!
Filipino Drama - 2020, 6 episodes
Watch history: April 18 to April 26 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: Mabagal
Final thoughts:
I didn’t like Mando and Barry’s cheating but overall this drama addressed so many real social, psychological and family issues in a low key way wich I liked. Still I think the plot needed more time to get „ripe“I liked the happy ending esp bc I love the song too XD -
38. Manner of Death
Thai Drama - 2020, 14 episodes
Watch history: March 27 to March 31 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: Secret LoveFinal thoughts:
For a Thai BL this had good quality but for a crime genre this is nothing to be proud of XD I mean, the story is interesting and not everything is clear from the start so I had my thrilled moments where I wanted to find out what happens next but the execution is still cheap and the acting is not good.
I still enjoyed it as what it is. I liked most of the characters and the romance was also very nice incuded and didnt clash with the crime plot. -
39. The Penthouse: War in Life
Korean Drama - 2020, 21 episodes
Watch history: March 13 to March 20 I Platform: viki.com (Ger)
OST: BGM
Final thoughts:
Final thoughts: It totally blew my mind. I ended up marathoning it in one work week and I regret nothing. It was such a roller coaster, no ofc even better. Honestly none of the characters are good people but these are damn interesting and crazy people I couldn`t get enough of XD. There is some overly dramatic shit going on in every episode and some twists and turns are even clever! -
40. Secret Royal Inspector
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Watch history: Feb 17 to March 13 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: -
Final thoughts:
I liked that there were different cases theteam had to investogate, they also travelled to different villages and werent involed in the court affaires (directly).
But the cases werent unique nor did they demand any exceptional brain work :D
I still liked the team work, romance was boring and could be cut out. -
41. Still 2gether
Thai Special - 2020, 5 episodes
Watch history: Feb 7 to March 13 I Platform: Youtube
OST: Win x Bright duet
Final thoughts:
This was obviously made for grabbing more money from fans. The story is so dumb and boring. It was really hard watching it, thankfully i watched with a friend and we could at least make fun of it.
buddy watch with Zehra -
42. Road to Kingdom
Korean TV Show - 2020, 8 episodes
Watch history: Feb 21 to Feb 27 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: Full AlbumFinal thoughts:
Honestly… all of them are fucking KINGS! There is no group that failed to impress me. I loved their rebooted performances of iconic Kpop songs I partially grew up with.
I also love that in this show there are no unnecessary figures present, like… annoying judges and rude coaches *rme* All I see are the members of the groups and sometimes the mcs pop up to read from their card a generic short introduction for the next performance and that’s all.
Also the Voting System is just what I like too. I liked it that the groups just voted among them selves. -
43. Live On
Korean Drama - 2020, 8 episodes
Watch history: Feb 19 to Feb 20 I Platform: viki.com (Ger)
OST: Your Light ( main theme), When My Loneliness Calls You
Final thoughts:
I'm always sceptical when it comes to Idol acting and I had no experince with Min Hyun and Byung Chans acting so I didn't expect to actually like their roles so much. They did a great job and it never felt awkward. (Yeonjuns cameo was not that great acted, usually what i expect from Idols lol)
Of course they need more practice and I really hope to see both of them taking more lead roles in the future!
Speaking about the plot of the drama, it was also surprisingly good, it felt a little rushed at the beginning but the pace was very good after that. There is sadly also too little told about other things than the main girls problem and second couple dating issues. I would like to see more of the family problems and more about the supporting characters. This drama actually needed to be 16 episodes imo ^^
PS: I also found her getting 'beat up' not that dramatic. I mean, yeah she was bullied but they didnt beat her up? And also even True Beauty had more intense bullying scenes so this was kinda meh. -
44. True Beauty
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Watch history: Feb 13 to Feb 16 I Platform: Viki.com (Ger)
OST: I'm missing You, Before Today Is Over (2021 FAV!!!), Love So Fine
Final thoughts:
This was cute, Ju Gyeong was so damn naive and stupid most of the time but I couldn’t be annoyed by her too much. Idk why, she was just so pure lol
I was team Su Ho till the end. Seo Jun was nice but he didn’t have any chemistry with Ju Gyeong (maybe bc she was so oblivious) and he felt just like a brother to me.
SPOILER----------->
Ok I was annoyed when Suho „broke up“ with her out of the blue, this was way out of character and I blame the writer and not Su Ho XD -
45. Hello Stranger
Filipino Drama - 2020, 8 episodes
Watch history: Feb 13 to Feb 14 I Platform: Youtube
OST: No Matter What Others Say (op ver) No Matter What Others Say (acoustic ver)
Final thoughts:
This was actually pretty well made considering the format.Eventhough the leads had very little personal interactions and mostly communicated through video calls the relationship development was believable. I also liked that the lead had many conversations with his friends and the friends with each other too. Overall I liked every character. The ending was a little disappointing/underwhelming but we got a really good Moviethat continued the story soit was probably intentional. -
46. We Best Love: No. 1 For You
Taiwanese Drama - 2021, 6 episodes
Watch history: Feb 11 to Feb 12 I Platform: Infuse 6 (@Mio Plex Server)
OST: Blue Lover
Final thoughts:
I love this smol tsundere cutie pie Zhou Shu Yi and his random Japanese so much <3 I loved how sweet and boyish the couple was.
SPOILER
Im worried for the second season tho. I mean, what the hell happened to them?! Why were they 5 years separated?! tTToTT
But I think I’ll still enjoy the second season, I live office romances :D -
47. The Uncanny Counter
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Watch history: Feb 6 to Feb 11 I Platform: Netflix.com (Ger)
OST: -
Final thoughts:
This was an average crime/investigation drama I’ve seen 1Million times sprinkled with boring written fantasy.
I loved the acting performance by the young cast.

48. Run On
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Watch history: Jan 31 to Feb 5 I Platform: Plex.tv (@Mio Server)
OST: Where You Are - Kim Na Young, Starlight (<3) - Jeong Hyo Bin
Final thoughts:
I liked how FL and ML slowly develope a friendship and then a romantic relationship, step by step without annoying unrealistic misunderstandings but with a lot of communication (even when they first dont really understand each other XD) and also the side characters are well developed. iI was actually interested in FL profession and would like to see more of her journey in the workling life.
But I must say the lead couple wasn't very interesting to me (the younger athletes story too), I liked the second couple a lot more and the art Yong Hwa made is gold, I would very much hang it on my wall or go to an exhibition of his art :D
SPOILER
Btw I didnt like the typical kdrama ending. Why was Dan Ahs and Yong Hwas over dramatic and cryptic break up even necessary?
Honestly I didn’t understand most of the things they were saying to each other in the last episode. Maybe it was partly the translations fault too but I feel like the writers wanted the dialogue to be poetic, and they overdid it for my taste.

50. Tonhon Chonlatee
Thai Drama - 2020, 10 episodes
Watch history: Jan 28 to Jan 30 I Platform: Plex.tv (Mio Server)
OST: -
Final thoughts:
Its hard to comment on this drama since I am aware how problematic the story was. but there were also sweet and funny moments in this that made me forget how much I hate Tonhon and his parents. The ending was so crazy I can't believe ppl in modern society accept such low life, disrespectful behavior towards other people and human life and the show never showed the wrong principles and thoughts of Tonhon and his father as WRONG! its was portrayed as very understandable like WTF?

51. I Told Sunset about You
Thai Drama - 2020, 5 episodes
Watch history: Jan 11 to Jan 21 I Platform: Plex.tv (Mio Server)
OST: 'Can't Translate' - Billkin
Final thoughts:
I loved the cinematography but the love story is too depressing for me. Aew being with Teh is toxic for him. And even when Teh seemingly came to terms with his feelings and promised to stay with Aew, considering his past behavior, I don't trust him. I feel like he'll hurt Aew again be it through his lack in understanding other peoples feelings or some other dumb stuff like jealousy or feeling threatened (like when Aem also wanted to become actor)
That drama is a good example for leading role should've ended up with the second male lead. He was such an Angel. I love Bas.
I'll probably try watching the second part, but as already said, I'm it to not be good and when I see Teh being this whiny trash bag again, I'll drop it.
Cinnemen wanted me to watch it, she loved it.

52. You Complete Me
Chinese Drama - 2020, 40 episodes
Watch history: Dec 18 2020 to Jan 23 I Platform: viki.com (Ger)
OST: By Chance (<3 op), Planet
Final thoughts:
I was positively surprised. The male lead wants revenge on a ceo guy who ruined his father company and tries to infiltrate the company as an employee. He meets three people, becomes friends with them and falls for one girl, later discovers she is the daughter of his enemy and I thought its gonna get so draggy and melodramatic with misunderstandings and what not. And he would actually project the hate on her, but nope, after brooding he decides that she is more important than ruining his and her happyness bc of revenge. They still fdace other obstacles than revenge in their private andf work life and their romance is totally cute, they understant each other and communicate.

53. Detention
Taiwanese Drama - 2020, 8 episodes
Watch on: Jan 9 I Platform: Netflix (Ger)
OST: Ending
Final thoughts:
I hoped the drama would add more than just new characters to the story. It was basically experiencing the same story from the game and movie over and over again. But it was well made.

54. Sweet Home
Korean Drama - 2020, 10 episodes
Watch history: Jan 1 to Jan 3 I Platform: Netflix (Ger)
OST: -
Final thoughts:
After watching a few fan edits and theories I decided to raise my initial rating of 7,5 to 8.0.
7 or 7,5 is a drama I would not feel like rewatching but I feel like I’d rewatch it in a month or so if a friend is picking this up or I’ll definitely rewatch when Season 2 comes out. So a 8.0 wich I give to rewatchable dramas.
I even bought Vol.2 of the graphic novel in Korean and want to read it lol.
And that’s impressive since I have a history of disliking or finding this kind of genre/premise boring.
But I got attached to every character! Man... I really didn’t expect that.
Moved from 'Maybe Watching' (bc of the hype)

55. Imawa no Kuni no Alice
Japanese Drama - 2020, 8 episodes
Watch history: Dec 29 2020 to January 1 2021 I Platform: Netflix (Ger)
OST: Good Times
Final thoughts:
Hm... I didn't get attached to any of the characters so I didn't really care if they live... Also the reveal of this weird black dressed woman as one of the perpetrators was lame. like yeah, the most weird and suspicious person (who disappeared at the beginning of the beach game) was it? How surprising *rme*
At this point the sole reason to watch it for me, is to see how this game could've been made (Don't really care why, bc it cant have a logical reason, must've been some crazy people/things and I can't take them seriously.) It's either magic or some high sci-fi shit. I hope its sci-fi.
Moved from 'Maybe Watching' because of Machida Keita <3
