K-Dramas Adapted To Manhwas Webtoon

K-Drama adapted to a manhwa webtoon which is a spin-off to the K-Drama. 

K-Drama adapted to a webtoon, but set in the historical-theme. 

The webtoon is an adaptation that transposes this classic revenge story into a Western-style palace fantasy setting (featuring dukes and Western names like Jerenia and Vincent).

- The K-Drama (2008 - 2009): The protagonist is named Goo Eun-jae. She is betrayed by her husband (Jung Gyo-bin) and her best friend (Shin Ae-ri). Her husband tries to drown her in the sea, but she survives, assumes a new identity (by putting a mole on her face, a detail that became a cultural meme in Korea), and returns as a “femme fatale” to destroy the lives of those who betrayed her.  

- The Webtoon (2024 - 2025): It follows the same structure of betrayal, attempted murder, and metamorphosis for revenge, but adapts the names to the style of a Western palace fantasy romance (Jerenia instead of Eun-jae).

While the protagonists in the drama are named Sun-woo and Min-young, in the comic book version (webtoon) their names have been changed to:
- Sela: The girl who finds the incense and tries to save her mother.
- Yijoon: Her first love, who, after the time shifts, ends up dating her best friend.
