He debuted in 2011 with a role in the musical "Spring Awakening" and, after his debut, he has appeared in other major productions such as "Grease", "Wicked" and "Notre-Dame de Paris", among others. Even while he was serving his mandatory military enrollment, he was granted to permission to appear in the military musical "Shinheung Military Academy, Return".
In 2016, he participated in season 1 of singing survival show "Phantom Singer". During the team mission, he joined 3 other singers and formed HPRESSO, eventually finishing in 3rd place.
Since then, they have not officially disbanded but the members are more focused on their individual activities compared to other crossover groups who have emerged from the show. He is represented by Double K Entertainment (더블케이엔터테인먼트).
