Shin Min Cheol is a South Korean singer and model. He was originally part of the boy band B.O.K that never got to debut. In 2007, he became the leader and vocalist of the trio T-MAX alongside Park Yun Hwa and Kim Joon. The group debuted with the single "Blooming" and their agency decided to introduce them to other activities such as acting. Kim landed a lead role in the Korean adaptation of "Boys Over Flowers" and the group gained popularity as they provided the OST "Paradise" for the drama. However, after a few more singles and OSTs, the group officially disbanded in 2012.
He later went on to create the duo TWOMAX alongside Park Yun Hwa but that proved unsuccessful and each continued their solo careers. He entered "Sing Again" in 2020 and was barely saved at the last minute by Kyuhyun and was later eliminated in the earlier rounds. He switched to trot music and has participated in "Hello Trot" and, most recently, in "Mr. Trot 2".
