Rino Nakasone is a Japanese dancer, entertainer and actress who began dancing after seeing Michael Jackson do his infamous moonwalk dance when she was 11 and would later see him live on tour four years later at the age of 14. At age 19, she moved to the US, and studied dance in college. While applying for her visa in 2004, she auditioned to be a backup dancer for Janet Jackson-- the sister of Michael Jackson-- and passed.

Nakasone later became the backup dancer for a myriad of A-list celebrities, including Britney Spears (which she would later choreograph for her tour), and was even a Harajuku Girl for Gwen Stefani (though at the time she went by the stage name Music). She would also later become the choreographer for stars in Asia, including SHINee's debut single "Replay" (2009), and Girls Generation's single "Genie"; she would also go on to choreograph for both SHINee [and later Taemin] and Girls Generation's tours, the latter of which would win her awards for dance in Macau). In Japan, she choreographed for AKB48 and SMAP. Nakasone also appeared on television programs, which consist as being the judge for the short-lived Okinawa Japan "X FACTOR", and NHK's "Hobby" program.

In 2017, she picked up acting once again, starring in the Singapore-Japan drama "Jimami Tofu", and also appeared in "Kokoro Odoru" and "Kitanaka Sketch" only one year later.

In 2023, she once again appeared on an audition program, joining the third season of "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN: The Girls" as the dance trainer for the show. Edit Biography
