Jeon Cho Ah is a South Korean singer. She graduated from Gyeongnam Girls’ High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Vocal Music from Kyungsung University and a master's degree in Postmodern Musicology from Kyunghee University. She made her debut in 2004 under the stage name Ran with her 1st album "Finally... in 5 Years". In 2007, she switched to the stage name Yein when another singer took over the Ran stage name and she briefly promoted as Choa in 2012. In 2017, she formed a project group with Cha Soo Kyung and Kim Ki Tae called EVERYDAY CHRISTMAS (에브리데이크리스마스를) and one year later she formed the duo CRYSTAL J (크리스탈 제이) with Cha. She currently teaches vocal techniques and applied music lyrics in the Department of Applied Music at Seoul Digital University.
