Kate Tsui is a retired Hongkongese actress, singer, voice actress, and host. She was the champion of the 2004 Miss Hong Kong Pageant and was formerly a contracted artist under TVB. She is the first artist in Hong Kong to win Best New Performer awards in both the singing and acting categories.

She began learning ballet at the age of 4 but had to give it up at the age of 11 due to an ankle injury. At 14, she switched to Hip Hop and Jazz, aspiring to become a performing artist. She attended the Sha Tin Tsang Hong School in her early years, studied at Sha Tin Tsu Chih Public School, and also attended the Hong Kong and Macau Lutheran Church Concordia Middle School. Later, she pursued her education overseas and graduated from the University of California, Davis.

In 2005, Kate Tsui made her debut in television dramas in the series "Fantasy Trend."

After graduating from university, she returned to Hong Kong and worked in marketing and project coordination at an engineering company. In 2004, she participated in the Miss Hong Kong Pageant and won the champion title.

In 2015, she pursued professional courses in jewelry design and colored gemstones. She initially pursued a part-time format, studying for a master's degree in psychology while working. In June 2019, she completed her master's degree in psychology at the University of Hong Kong.

On December 24, 2019, Kate Tsui left Hong Kong and emigrated to Europe. On the same day, she announced her departure from the Hong Kong entertainment industry and her decision to retire from acting after moving to Europe. She revealed plans to pursue a Ph.D. in psychology after settling in Europe.
