George Wang, born named Wang Chun Yang (王春陽), was a Chinese-born Taiwanese actor, producer, and director. In 1935, he entered the Department of Economics at National Northeastern University, later transferring to the Department of History. After the Lugou Bridge Incident in 1937, he joined the anti-Japanese movement and performed in dramas to promote resistance against the Japanese invasion. In 1938, he joined the China Film Corporation and appeared in Chongqing's first film, "Protecting the Homeland." Besides acting in films, he also performed in dramas. He was in a relationship with his co-star Luo Yang, and they later married and had one daughter and two sons.

After the war, he moved to Shanghai with the film studio. In 1947, he came to Taiwan to shoot "Hualien Port"; the following year, he came to Taiwan again to scout locations for "Chronicles of the Expeditionary Forces of China in Burma," but due to the situation in Shanghai, the film was not completed. In 1949, he led most of the staff and equipment of the China Film Corporation to Taiwan. Initially, in Taiwan, he performed in dramas at the Zhongshan Hall and operated a Sichuan restaurant called "Shuyuan" with his wife. Starting in 1950, he served as the head of the technical group at the China Film Corporation and starred in films such as "Awakening from a Nightmare," "Never Parting," and "Grass in the Military." In addition to his film work, he also actively promoted drama.

In 1959, after filming the Sino-Italian joint venture "The Great Wall of Ten Thousand Miles" in Italy, Wang Jue chose to stay and develop in the thriving local film industry. In the 1960s and 1970s, Wang Jue was almost the only Oriental actor active in the European and American film industries and had influence in the Italian film industry, even facilitating cooperation between the Italian side and Shaw Brothers to shoot "This Time I'll Make You Rich." In 1976, he and his son Wang Dao formed the "Wang's Film Company" in Hong Kong. He returned to Taiwan in 1978.

In early 2015, he was hospitalized multiple times for pneumonia and choking on food, but although his condition stabilized after returning home, he suddenly passed away on the afternoon of March 27 due to heart failure, at the age of 96.
