After trying different sports in his childhood, he found he enjoyed short-track speed skating the most. He won the gold medal in the 1,000 meters at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics in Lausanne, Switzerland.
He represented his country at the senior level in the 2024 International Short Track Championships in Laval, Canada and won the gold medal in the 5,000-meter relay. Then, at the IX Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China, he won two gold medals (1,000 meters and 2,000-meter relay) and two bronze medals (500 meters and 1,500 meters).
