Han Jeong Hwan is a South Korean actor, performer, and entrepreneur, born in Yeonan, Hwanghwae, South Korea. He holds dual citizenship in the United States and South Korea. After the Korean War, he moved to Seoul.

Previously known by the stage names Han So Ryong (한소룡), Kevin Jeong (케빈 정), and Han Ji Il (한지일), he graduated from Inchang High School (인창고등학교) and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Broadcasting from Kyung Hee University (경희대학교).

Han began his career in 1970 as a commercial model, making his film debut in 1973 as the lead in Wind, Cloud (바람아 구름아). He later became an entrepreneur, serving as president of Han Cinema Town (한시네마타운), a video company he also founded in the 1990s. He expanded into the hotel business but faced significant financial losses during the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis, leading to a divorce and a move to the United States, where he worked in manual labor and as a supermarket manager.

He is the father of Han Won Seok (한원석), and his mother is Kim Soon Ae (김순애). His ancestral roots trace back to the Cheongju Han clan (청주 한씨).
