He made his debut in January 2016 as the group's main vocalist and maknae with their first single, "Exclusive". Originally a 6-member group, they were managed by Elen Entertainment (에렌엔터테인먼트; formerly known as Heavenly Star Content), but immediately faced a lack of opportunities to perform.
Their last release came in early 2017, and months later, several members began negotiations to leave the agency. He decided to leave the group and Elen Entertainment in September of that year and also quit the entertainment industry.
He is now an entrepreneur and married his non-celebrity girlfriend in April 2025.
