Gao Si Wen, formerly known as Gao Yao Ping (郜耀平), is a Chinese actress born in Zhengzhou, Henan, China.

She officially debuted in acting at the age of 9 in "Naughty Boy Ma Xiao Tiao" (2008). She briefly used a stage name, Lan Bo Er. However, most of her accreditations for earlier works were under her birth name, Gao Yao Ping. Only later in 2018 did she go by the name Gao Si Wen. The reason she adopted the new name was that her birth name sounded too masculine and was not quite befitting of her cute and youthful image.

She grew up in Beijing and attended the Peixing Primary School in Haidian District, Beijing. In 2012, she began studying dance and singing at the Affiliated High School of Beijing Dance Academy. Regardless of being offered admission to the Beijing Film Academy and the Communication University of China, she opted for the Shanghai Theatre Academy to pursue her higher education in 2018. To focus on her studies, she settled for acting roles in much smaller budgeted productions and made fewer appearances on screen. She graduated from the Acting Department at Shanghai Theatre Academy in 2022, majoring in Drama and Film.
