He made his debut in 2005 as part of the 20th open recruitment for comedians at KBS. He left the show in 2009 as he ventured into other variety shows like "Law of the Jungle" but returned in 2013 and spent another 5 years in highly popular comedy corners.
In July 2020, he was booked on suspicion of drunk driving, and in November, he was found guilty and sentenced to one year in prison and two years probation. After being released, he has only been appearing on his YouTube channel as he remained banned by most networks.
