Kamishiraishi Moka

  • Name: Kamishiraishi Moka
  • Native name: 上白石萌歌
  • Also Known as: adieu
  • Nationality: Japanese
  • Gender: Female
  • Born: February 28, 2000
  • Age: 23
Kamishiraishi Moka is a Japanese actress, fashion model, singer and TV personality from Kagoshima prefecture. She adopted the name 'adieu' as her singer stage name. Her noteable performances include the films Mirai and A Forest of Wool and Steel, and the dramas Gibo to Musume no Blues and 3 Nen A Gumi. Kamishiraishi also featured as the secondary host of TBS's talk show A-Studio and taken roles in stage performances of Kiki's Delivery Service and a sequel to The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.

Kamishiraishi started her career in 2011 after winning the 7th Toho Cinderella Audition - a competition held by the major film company Toho to launch the careers of young female performers. At the time, she was the youngest ever winner and it was the only time that two sisters both received awards, as her elder sister 上白石萌音 (Kamishiraishi Mone), was a runner-up. In the 42nd Japanese Academy Awards, held in 2019, she received a Newcomer of the Year prize for her role as Yuni Sakura in A Forest of Wool and Steel.

When performing as a singer, Kamishiraishi adopts the name adieu. She debuted in 2015 with ス・マ・イ・ル・ (S M I L E), the main theme for NHK Eテレ's Hanakappa and has since released her first mini album adieu 1. Edit Biography
