Sato Masaki, born in Hokkaido, Japan, is a 10th generation member of Morning Musume.

Sato Masaki was selected from Morning Musume's 10th Generation audition to join the group on September 29, 2011, along with Iikubo Haruna, Ishida Ayumi, and former Hello! Pro Egg Kudou Haruka.
The tenth generation made their official presentation on the same day they were announced as new members in the "Morning Musume Concert Tour Fall 2011 Ai Believe ~Takahashi Ai Graduation Memory Special~" concert, and they participated in a performance of the song "Tomo". They also participated in the end of the song "Namidacchi".

She is leaving the group and Hello! Project after their concert on December 13, 2021 due to poor health. After graduation, she plans to carry out her music activities as a soloist. She first plans to distribute videos of herself singing. Up Front Promotion will continue to support her after her graduation.
