Son Hyun Seok, known professionally as Son Woo Hyun, is a South Korean singer, dancer, actor represented by KingKong by Starship Entertainment (킹콩 by 스타쉽). He was formerly a member of 3Chongsa (삼총사) and X-5 (엑스파이브). After graduating from Chungnam High School, he later obtained a bachelor's degree in Theater and Film from Kookmin University.

Woo Hyun made his debut in May 2009 (under the stage name Hwarang) as part of 3Chongsa with their single "Let's Go." In March 2010, Jerry Entertainment (제리엔터테인먼트) decided to disband them.

He then re-debuted in April 2011 as X-5's vocalist (under the stage name Gun) with the single "Xenos." However, Open World Entertainment's CEO, Jang Seok Woo, became involved in a major scandal when he was accused and later charged with criminal assault, harassment and rape of his female trainees. After the investigation and sentencing, the agency disappeared, and the group disbanded in December 2012.

On December 3, 2012, he enlisted for mandatory military service and was discharged on December 2, 2014. After being released, he decided to become an actor.

In October 2016, he made his official acting debut with a role in the short film "Butterfly Effect" (나비 효과). The same year, he made his TV debut with a role in the MBC drama "Blow Breeze" (불어라 미풍아). He also became a theater actor with roles in stage plays since 2018 and in musicals since 2024.
