Ryuji participated in the “Vocal Battle Audition 2006: Asian Dream" to join EXILE but was cut after the second round. For the next 4 years he took vocal lessons and once again competed in Vocal Battle Audition 2. He ended up winning and became a member of J Soul Brothers. They debuted in 2010 with the single "Best Friend's Girl".
In 2018, he kicked off his solo career with the single "One Day" and shortly after his first album Light>Darkness.
Other than singing and performing, Ryuji also features as a MC programs and hosts a talk show Love or Not. He's expected to make his acting debut in 2019 as part of the Cinema Fighters project. Edit Biography
