Kim Jung Ryul is a South Korean comedian and broadcaster. He graduated from Hansung High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Chungnam National University.

He made his debut in 1981 as part of the 1st open recruitment for comedians at MBC. He was actually eliminated in the radio portion of the audition, but due to the shortage of comedians, the network allowed the top 14 contestants to appear on TV. He then featured in many shows during the 1980s and early 1990s, before gradually reducing his schedule to focus on his studies, family, and personal businesses.
