In 2016 Ran is a member of the girl group ME:I (ミーアイ) under LAPONE Entertainment (LAPONEエンタテインメント). A former student at EXPG Omiya, she previously performed as a back-up dancer.

On July 7th of 2019, Ran joined the idol group Girls2 (ガールズガールズ), officially debuting with them on October 30th of that year. Her graduation was from Girls2 was set for March 31st, 2023. On September 3rd 2023, Due to her success on the survival show "Produce 101 Japan The Girls" (プロデュース ワンオーワン ジャパン ザ ガールズ), she earned a spot in ME:I.
